Pretty unbelievable, given our current state of support, that people can seriously suggest that they would rather certain people not attend.

Butcher, if you had seen the abuse away at London last year you would know what I mean. Sure the team capitulated but our fans offering to fight the subs and coaching staff, whilst screaming disgusting abuse is just not on. They certainly have no concept of how to behave and on a personal level I would happily see the back of them. If I am not happy with the team I just leave, but I guess we are not all the same, I do not abuse or boo them, I do not see how that does any good. Anyway that is my view and I will stick with it.

Let's pray there's no repetition of past lunatic behaviour at the HJ on Sunday

My earlier post was more aimed at those that say people who wear silly hats etc are not welcome. No room for abusive fans whatsoever and I hope you didn't think I meant otherwise.

Cheers Butcher, I know what you was getting at, and I also have no problems with fans dressing up, just enjoy themselves and behave that is all we can hope for.

I think jester hats were the least of your worries in attracting idiot fans. Spoke to a lot of your lot and had some good banter and rugby conversations. However i was surprised to see a Salford bloke in his late 50's early 60's hurling abuse to the young lads with the drums.

"Sh1t without your drums arnt ya?" "w@nky wire scum bags" effing and Jeffing and all the rest of it. Who said it was the younger generation with no manners or decorum. A bloke of his age. You'd think he'd have more sense...

There's a particular moron stands near me who's got to be 55/60 and comes out with some of the vilest crap, couple of times I've told him to sling it but he's just dumb as dung.

It was laughable as he swooped out of nowhere with no provoking and started going mad. anything he could think of to do with warrington he'd insert scum or f***ing and go off on one. The mind boggles.

Decent support from Salford especially in the second half when the match was well and truly over. I understand the view that this season's a write off etc etc but thought you would have had more of a go on the pitch yesterday

I like the Halliwell Jones , nice tidy stadium terracing on the side and high enough for a decent view , unfortunately Salford were outclassed in every aspect , most disappointingly enthusiasm. Added to that we were guilty of some awful schoolboy errors to gift easy points which made the result obvious by the 20 minute mark.
second half the majority of supporters decided to make some noise and not vent their spleen.

Before the game and despite our victory at Barton earlier this year, I was a bit worried that this game was a banana skin for us, possibly because of the 'ties' I have with Salford...a 'no win' game for me and you have stuck one or two results on us over the years.

Hope you turn it around next year, not too much BTW ha ha but enough to make you competative and get an RL 'buzz' going

Warrington barely got into first gear, some very poor tries conceded.

Enjoyed the second half for the noise created, good effort from the real fans who backed the team rather than watching the football on the tele. On the pitch that was as bad as ive seen this season. We were very poor with the ball in hand and never looked like scoring, only points coming from an opportunist try.

From an away fans point of view Halliwell Jones is a good stadium to visit. The two visits in 2006 being memorable. It would be nice to get occassions like that sooner rather than later.

Went in The Tavern before the game. Good choice of ales and a lot of rugby memorabilia on the wall. There was an extremely vocal Watford fan who was watching the game and it was entertaining seeing his mixed emotions at the end of that game!

That I do agree with. Although, at times, I wonder whether or not there's a small cross over between the two groups described.

Still, if most people don't care or aren't embarrassed by such wacky antics then, y'know, god-speed to them...

Their 3rd try where they managed to get three kicks in before scoring was some of the worst defence I've ever seen. The defending for the 2nd try was awful as well, just completely switched off.

And the first try by Chris Hill, a simple drop off and he bust through. We were woeful yesterday absolutely woeful. The sooner this season finishes the better.

After seeing some of that, I'm glad I opted for Old Trafford yesterday rather than the Halliwell Jones.

Fitness , defense and confidence are very , very poor. Im sure Nobby will be working on them all and we will just have to be patient and hope all improve soon.
