Me wonders if there will be a Delia Smith-esque plea from Wilkinson at H/T on Friday asking fans to travel to Leigh. Would be great if the young last could get a 300+ crowd

Following the defeat on Friday, am I right in thinking the U20s (due to their runners up position) are still in the competition? If so, do we know who, where and when they will be playing?

We have got Wigan at home this weekend. Although in true Salford fashion, the date/time etc have yet to be announced.

The rules state players have got to have played 6 games for their teams in the Valvoline season to play in the play offs, we will wait & see!! Effie Lauauki(spelling) played for Wigan at w/end would like to know if he had played 6 for them over the season?? Fair enough if he has, also Gelling & Thornley played.
After they fielded half a team of 1st team squad players with SL experience in the league game a few weeks ago who knows who may turn out for them.
Our guys will have to do it the hard way, GO THE RED MEN,!!!

This seems to be have been the club's main (only?) success story this year. Hopefully a decent turnout again for them on Sunday.

Who of of our senior players have played 6 games for the U20's? I've seen Sidlow, Neal and Boyle play a few times and obviously Sneyd but he's injured.

So out of Saturday's first team we should have: Vievers, Owen, Neal, Sidlow, Boyle and A.Walne all eligible to face Wigan?

Owen/Walne/Vievers have been pretty regular in the 20s all season so imagine they would play. Not sure if any of Neal/Sidlow/Boyle would play, even if eligible. Anyone know if Jordan Walne is likely to be fit? Looked a pretty nasty injury at Leeds.

Does anyone know if you can pay on the day or do you have to pre-purchase tickets?

Spoke to Jordan at the game said he is 4weeks away from fitness

Wigan Warriors Under 20's will face Salford City Reds this weekend in the Valvoline Cup Play-Offs.

The game will take place at the Salford City Stadium on Sunday with a 4.30pm kick off.( please note this has changed from 2.30pm)


5th placed Wigan defeated Hull at home 50-0 last weekend while 2nd placed Salford get another opportunity following their 30-50 home loss to 3rd placed Leeds Rhinos.
