| One of the most basic rules of marketing is KEEP IT SIMPLE!
I've read the information several times and I'm still confused. The IDEA of a year round DD is fine, but I still get the monthly DD coming out £24 cheaper than that of the advertised cash payment of £200 surely that can't be right?
If I wasn't a committed fan, there's no way I'd be sifting through all that confusion, I'd want a ticket NOT a headache!
I also noticed that we are to introduce different prices for different games............BIG MISTAKE in my opinion.

| There might be a good deal in there somewhere. I'm sure someone at the design stage thought it was a simple and elegant solution to season tickets. After a quick glance it doesn't make a great deal of sense (On scrutiny it might fall into place) If they are after new fans, confusing and/or intimidating folk with too many options and numbers isn't a great way to start.
It all screams a little too much of 'Look how innovative and clever we are. You should be excited' instead of just, 'Here are our prices'.
At least they're trying.

| WTF is that all about? And what have I already been paying for? Does the deal I signed up for not count anymore? Also just worked out that PAYG members have to go to 8 games to make it worth it. So confused!!!!

I think if you have already bought one before the season ticket announcement you are already a gold member...

| It's a joke, i think i just about grasp it after 30 minutes of reading. What's with all this membership why cant they just announce a set price of say £150 adults, £50 kids etc if you want to pay by direct debit then say £10 a month or whatever. All these packages etc just confuse people i have mates who have asked me how much season tickets are if i try and explain that to the i think they just wont bother.
I will be emailing the McNally's tomorrow. I'll let you know if i get a reply i wont hold my breath. Seriously who employes these numpties that run our club.
Is it £50 per person or per house hold for memberships?
Salford do it again.

| The way I'm reading it and I betI'm wrong is as follows.
It costs more to pay up front! can that be right?
If you want a Premier membership and want to stand behind the sticks you opt for the free PAYG pass so the total cost will be £130. If you want the match pass allowing access all areas it will cost you another £50.
It's a marketing nightmare.

I think perhpas they want people to go for the direct debit option, as in the terms an conditions it says:
"Initial membership is for 12 months, after which your membership is a rolling contract until you notify us that you wish to cancel."

Looks like it's £200 if you pay upfront or £180 if you pay direct debit (I think).

Yeah, but be fair, the club could release a CD of John Wilkinson farting and you'd think it was great.
I think I've got my head around it now. Direct Debit it is... Although I notice that, on the online brochure, there's no application form nor a DD form. Seems a strange move, unless there'll be one with the paper form.

Now having finally got the advert to stop moving so i could read it, it looks like that if you buy before November 30th it will only cost you £50 for a mtach pass, it states all super league games for just £50, I assume the other prices are for after this date. I am apparently a Premership member having started paying last season, but surely I should have the choice of the £50 superduper match pass and a refund, rather than being punished for buying early.
But that is just how I see it

| With the prem + option you get away travel for free to 2 away games.
So I'd like to put my name down for London away and Perpignan away now please
Also seems as though we can now go anywhere we want to. How about we all go into the seated stand opposite the main stand and stand up there A la away games. That way we'll not be stuck at the end behind the sticks? They can't make us all sit down or throw us all out can they?

| It's been presented a little complicatedly, but looks pretty good offer to me. Premier Membership, is 52 x £2.50 = £130, add £50 match pass, and total for season £180.00. I'm a bit surprised there doesn't appear to be an option to pay upfront, a flat £180.00 and here's your season ticket option would have been nice.
Most confusing bit is do you have to choose a seat/standing for the season or can you move on a game by game basis?

You can pay up front for £200.

Oh look. Once again you've nothing to contribute to the debate other than "look at me, I'm a proper fan, you're all idiots who slag the club off for no reason."
One day you might be able to engage in proper, reasoned debate and discuss the pros and cons of the way the club is run equally rather than defending absolutely everything.

| From the fishal site
"Match Passes that grant entry to every home Super League game are available to all members signing up for the Premier and Premier+ levels of membership for just £50 for adults, £20 for juniors aged between 12 and 16 years old and a fabulous FREE for U12s.
Incredibly the Reds are also announcing that there is only one price band for the entire stadium! In what we believe is a first for top level sport in the UK supporters can choose to stand or sit in any area where there is availability for the same price! That means a centre seat in the fabulous new West Stand will cost just £50 for an adult member for the entire season! If you prefer to stand it is the same low price for every game in the entire 2012 season!"

It's important for simple people to categorise folk like this isn't it? Am I the panto villain or hero? Are you booing or cheering me?
As for contibuting to the 'debate'? I was snorting with laughter at the increasingly suicidal tone of the thread before a link to the ST info was posted (as promised).
You know the saddest part? There'll be people who've contributed to this 'debate' who are now gutted that the club delivered. But yeah, I'm the pr1ck here...
Quote ="ess-ay-el-eff-oh-ar-dee"One day you might be able to engage in proper, reasoned debate and discuss the pros and cons of the way the club is run equally rather than defending absolutely everything.'"
Bombshell: I don't blindly defend the club.
It may be what I've been pigeon-holed as; a dopey, clueless, apologist - but if you took the time to read my posts you'll see I simply question (or point/laugh at) how vociferously a few users here express themselves and go to extraordinary lengths to discuss anything but perceived shortcomings.
I'll bet at least half of the people on here using terms like "typical f*ckin' Salford " have never had a single problem in their own dealings with the club, but it's just so much easier to join in. Isn't it, Mr 36 posts?
On topic - Looks like good deals to be had. Particularly given the obvious cost hikes associated with the new gaff.

Cant reaily do that kind of thing at home, you dont s*** on your own, everyone will have a individual seat what happens when i take my son and he cant see because everyone is stood up? you want a great view and on the side like the shed was you have to sit, if you put standing above anything else (like me) then you go behind the goal
Both the same price so you can try both and decide where you stand (or sit )
Quote ="GT"Yeah, but be fair, the club could release a CD of John Wilkinson farting and you'd think it was great. :wink.'"
i think JW would be more of a "silent but deadly" farter if im honest, unless he can do a tune....
Its good the club have pitched this season ticket idea and with the option of paying in instalments for a cheaper price is a win / win for me for two reasons
1) Its cheaper for us fans
2)The club know that they are guaranteed £x'000 every month regardless of how many home fixtures we have, gives them a chance to plan where the money goes and invest in its inferstructure and become even stronger
Basically if any fellow reds ask or we as fans start promoting the club to new potential / old lapse fans £180 if you pay by direct debit or £200 if you pay it in one hit before 30th Novemeber or £260 after (but we do know they will drag it out for a bit after like they do every season, just dont leave it too long)
Lets hope we the fans and the club can get the message out about this fantastic deal
