To say I was shocked at the turnout last night would have been an understatement! we could have no excuses, second round of the cup, at home no football being played so no excuse.
If there was 1200 Salford fans there last night that would have been tops,
So 2087
-1200 Salford fans max
= 887 Rovers fans at minimum
Shall we settle on at least 887 Rovers fans then?  |

I doubt RG actually counted everyone (although he / she probably could  ) I would say there were around 650/750 Rovers fans there, which as has already been said is a great following for a cup game, but never a grand of you, FC brought more last week and they didn't bring a thousand, in fact not many do.

attendances have been dreadful at all the cup ties, only 5000 at Bradford and St helens and warrington. Can someone get Sheik Mansour interested in RL!!!! I have watched Salford for over 40 years , and i can take losing as long as we play with passion and play expansive football that everyone wants to watch. This i am afraid has been lacking for sometime, and is down to poor coaching, poor fitness levels, and a squad with not enough depth. At the moment we lack passion for the shirt, lack of leadership on the field , and the senior players know if they havea bad game they wont bev dropped as we have no one to come in. I would rather see 17 players on the pitch who would give there all, and play with freedom and imagination than watch the current dross.

Any other nuggets of Rugby League knowledge, Lancetodd?
Maybe, Grandmother shows Patten how to be a real fullback?
Or, Ratchford waste of space because he's got a bendy face?
I love the fact that we have fans vomiting this kind negative tripe. That for some incredible reason, they are in a better position to judge who should and shouldn't be a Captain.  |
