I doubt 20 fans aweek donating £1 to the clubs coffers would make a jot of difference, a spot of luck and the club could have all it's troubles wiped out, has got to be worth the effort. I'd be personally very happy to have crack at it the club will certainly not lose anything by it.

And when you win you'll give it to the club right?

Yeh that would be the idea, the purchase of the club would be the main goal but the longer term would be the stability of the club and the youth set up.

But that might lead to an outbreak of informed opinions on here instead of the oh-so-entertaining theories plucked out of people's ar$e$...

I see Councillor Greedio is still against it, Councillor lancaster talking about costs all adding up, also noticed the MEN back slapping Keeling for breaking the story all he did was cut and paste the Salford star story, money for old rope.

It's interesting how few replies a post gets when it contains actual real stuff rather than conjecture.

Seems to be very little actual good news in amongst all that, Garrido needs to be shunned by everyone who has even the slightest bit of pride in Salford the club and Salford the city as a whole.

Would be wondeful if she had other business ventures we could put the mockers on and see how she likes being screwed over. Just out of interest is there any clue what she would have the land or the money earmarked to help the club for?? I would express what i'm thinking but think i'd get booted in record time.

If anything, it shows that this stadium, which people still seem to state is never going to happen and was just a lie concocted to get us a franchise, is subject to lengthy discussion at the main meeting of the City council.

That's harsh, I know some slags who are perfectly nice ladies to be with for the night

. The walking bullseye that is Ms Garrido seems like the sort of person who needs to be treated with utter contempt and hounded at every legal oppertunity for the shocking lack of respect for her home town club.

As I posted above does anyone know if she has any other viable commercial interests we could maybe target to let her know that a great many Salfordians would happily see her crucified for her remarks and actions.

Its a total farce and to me this looks like a phantom stadium its about time someone comes out and just told us that this wont happen
. what with the club needing loans and now not owning a stadium how are they going to afford the rent for the stadium they cant get gates of over 3,000 only if we get a good team like leeds warrington and saints who have a good traveling support. Its begining to sound like a joke whats next for the clubs next trick.

Whenever there is a slight whiff of negative news you are on it..your boring and making the rest of us miserable with your pessimistic views. The Stadium =#BF0000WILL be built, Yes its taking a long,long time and i dont know whether you have noticed but there are more fans than just you who are fed up of the waiting but to just moan about everyfricking thing is p**ing me off. why dont you and Garrido go and leave this city because you clearly dont enjoy being in it and supporting its premier team.
