This is the best shirt the club have had in years. Personally I never wear modern rugby jersey's because I just hate the feel of the uncomfortable fabric they use. I believe this one is cotton like the old style jerseys of the past so I'll definately be getting one. If this jersey is a huge success what are the chances a commemotative away shirt as well?

I can see where you are coming from but it did show photo's of the shirts in the season ticket brochure. I also understand the choice of free shirts with the early bird are still the clubs official first team jerseys for 2011 and the team will wear the red one for matches not at the Willows.(Colour clash permitting) It just happens that due to it being the last ever year at the Willows they have chosen to play in the Commemorative shirt at the Willows.
The term 'Home shirt' and 'Away shirt' that all clubs use in many sports is actually wrong and misleading because it's actually First Shirt and Change Shirt.
I just put this down to exceptional circumstances with the bonus for many of getting a free shirt and not having to buy both new first and change shirts for next year.

does this mean that we have two away shirts and one home shirt for next season

Watch out for the new commemorative away shirt being announced in the new year

I have a colour copy which will be hung back on the stairwall as soon as the missus finishes the decorating.

Home games: "commemorative" shirt.
Away games: 2010 home shirt.
Away games where the home team wears red: 2010 away shirt.

Order it, well looking forward to the season starting, might go to the friendly at leigh, thats if the snow lets us, if not then i'll wait for the wigan friendly at home.

I heard the new commemorative jersey will be worn with the option of either red or white shorts and red & white hooped socks. The kit with the white shorts will be similar the Wembley 1969 kit but with the white double 'V' . . and the red shorts option will be the same style design as the Australian kit.

according to the shop theres been a set back with the shirts and they wont be getting them until monday

typical bloody salford, was hoping to go and collect my commemorative shirt today as going away sunday n been told its now not turning up till tuesday or wednesday, things need to improve on the commercial side if were ever going to go anywhere !!!!!

lucky we are not in Scotland or Humderside nobody is delivering anything, I am awaiting a top from another company which I ordered in November and they hope they will have it to me by next week, so it is not only Salford that is having problems.

DELIVERIES ARE BEYOND THE COMMERCIAL DEPT. CONTROL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They have done their job, designing & promoting the shirt & getting the orders, not their fault if the country has ground to a near holt due to the weather

the club think small and will always be small, i was in the shop and i suggested to them why dont they have a certain number of shirts printed with "willows 110" on the back and the response i got was its too much hard work, i see it as an opportunity to market the club even more and promote the new stadium, but what do i know ive only been in sales and marketing for the last 10 years !!!!

I would have thought "Victor Meldrew "printed on the back was more appropriate for you Tez.

im just passionate about the club and want them to do alot better but it annoys me when i see how its being run and when you give them some ideas and they say what they do.
