Fella plenty of people know about these things, they just choose not to post them all over the internet as it could potentially upset one party or another thus scuppering the deal, it's been done many times before.

The problem like you say is that posting this stuff could potentially scupper a deal or take away some media impact. Personally I feel the club need to clamp down on information coming out because it's unprofessional.
