Liquidating an asset is a totally different thing to going bankrupt or insolvent and is a common practice in business but i am guessing you know that and are more intent on sowing seeds and creating doubt.Either way it has little to no bearing on the mans personal wealth as any businessman worth his salt would protect his personal assets from his business assets.

Technically your correct, Bankruptcy applies usually to an individual, Partnership or sole trader where as Liquidation usually applies to a company in receivership.

Either way it is brought about by the failure to pay creditors, yes you can Liquidate a company voluntarily but in doing so you would ensure the assets had been "moved" as in liquidation they would become under the ownership of the crown.

I never said at any point Koukash had been Bankrupt just that he had been involved in liquidating companies he was attached to.

The rumours and constant names is wearing thin a little now.

SBW was always going to be a none event. We've had Smith as nailed-on, in talks, not coming. Why would Griffin get a new deal then move on?

I just wish the Club would get on with it now. Of course, it's not the Clubs fault, but the constant media outlets relying on plucking names out of the air rather than reporting facts doesn't help.

You could certainly envisage a situation where a good player agrees a contract for a given amount then sees very silly numbers being talked about for others alleged to be coming in, a few enquiries then said player might well find that there is some greener grass elsewhere?

Other than Chase, whose signing the Dr was quite candid about , all the links with various players have all been via journalist - twitter rumour etc , we honestly have no idea who Salford are realy targeting , now , lots of the players may have been players - agents sounded out months ago .

Anybody doubting the financial impetus this great player would give the club should tune into the Wests v Roosters game today after 24 minutes. SBW produces something sensational and Barton would be sold out every week for similar stuff. $1MILL contract remember = 3 weeks Wayne Rooney`s wages. There is no comparison in terms of value.

SBW would be a massive coup for Salford and the whole of Super League. His commercial and marketing potential will pay dividends for us intangibly as well as him being a force to be reckoned with on the pitch.

My guess is that Noble was consulted about giving him a permanent contract,as I think Nobles arrival was in the pipeline at the time, but not announced.
