Jewitt is one of the best forwards we have got he is tryin his hardest to do whats best for the team if you wanna have a go at anyone make it someone who isn't trying. what is the point in going to a rugby match if all you want to do is abuse them you c**k

I go week in, week out. All I want is a bit of passion. The second half display on Sunday wasn't worth going to Hull for, however I will go to Hull again on Sunday because I love the club, but the crop of players we have atm (with a few exceptions of course) I have no time for, they are stealing a living. Not a bit of effort from some of them, so I will abuse them if I like, sometimes in sport, fans can lift a team which I have tried to do for years, now it is about the team lifting the fans because I am starting to loose patience with them along with many others.



Jewitt is awful at the moment, Stapleton is out best forward and at this moment in time he is streaks above the rest in my eyes, even he isn't playing very well. Jewitt maybe a decent player if he can keep his head, he came on made hardly any yards off 3/4 drives then tried to take someones head off and start a fight, Yeah brilliant forward he is.



What is the point in coming on a rugby league forum if all your going to do is abuse people?

At the end of the day there are more important things in life to worry about other than Rugby.

It's a sport, I go on a Friday, gutted on the Saturday over it by Sunday. Don't let it rule your life because if it does you won't have one.

So they lost, so what. Imagine you were playing for a team and you were getting beat everyweek and some fans called you all the names under the sun? You wouldn't like it either. your going on as if they want to lose be serious there professional sportsman FFS.

40 odd years the 80's were great we were winning nothing and never were my football team apart from the odd FA cup, then in the summer Lancs were blazing a trail in one day cricket. At least now I have one of my teams doing alright, last season 6 cups in the year Salford with 3 of these, so this year I will just have to put up with the dross one day and hopfully some good stuff the following day. More downs than Up but it is boring winning everything thats the curse of Salford RLFC but you have it for life so we just keep going.

Yeah probably I should after 15 or so years of nothing but devotion to my beloved Rugby League club that I'm watching go down the s=blackhit pan. I dont give the team abuse anyway I get behind them when they show pride in their shirts not when they start flipping there own fans off.

Can we get some reaility back here people Jewitt is a young player who like turner, rachford and Myler are learning their trade at this level, just because the likes of Turner, rachford and Myler have the ability to do somthing special standout at times and everyone (including me it has to be said) starts cooin at them doesnt make them the finished article, they have all made mistakes this season which has cost us tries but nobody seems to be jumpin around shouting about that ( i dont want this to happen btw as they as a group of players have nothing to do with the mess we are in right now).

Jewitts not going to produce that bit of magic your going to get from the other youngsters as he's not that type of player, he'll graft, he'll battle, he'll fight, he'll give away the odd penalty, he'll try and ruff people up and when a shoulder needs to be put in when the forward battle needs to be won i can guarantee he'll be there or there abouts.

The only way he's going to get noticed if he puts a massive hit on somebody and doesnt get pulled for it, there is a very thin line between legal and foul play the way he plays the game its just unfortunate he's getting pulled for it at the moment.

we at this club have been crying out for this type of player as many people have said our pack over the years has been "too nice and honest" now we have 2 "ugly battling" forwards and we're abusing them both which is mental because in my eyes its not their fault.

As for stapleton being our best forward and above any kind of abuse sorry but i feel he has been found out at this level, not saying he's rubbish, not saying he's not fit to wear the shirt but i expected big things this season from him and its just not happened so far.

He isnt getting much help from Cashmere eather, its like watching 2 Damion Driscoll at times, that and Swain tredding water at the moment there is only reaily Big Phil thats going forward and he's not consitant. All the pack need to to step their games up, the senior pro's at this club need to take the lead and bring these youngsters though and protect them on the field like they were when they came in all them years ago.

i know its hard because Mcrae has his zig zag approach up the middle pecentage rugby league but he aint going to change it until he gets some pace on the wings weather he buys it or loans it or brings it though from the accademy or he gets sacked we get somebody else in and we change the style we play.

All i want from the senior pro's is the intensity level shown at Hull KR in the 1st 30 minutes, i would like it for 40 minutes this time, im not asking for much, use your experience buy us the odd penality control the game dont let it control you.

If your Still feeling good after that run your blood to water and we'll see if we can can go to the end, i know you can do it, you know you can do it, so go and do it and when you do how good will it feel to prove all us doubters wrong.

are the overpaid aussies and kiwis all s because they have been shocking all season it only lees 2 game game and he blows a kiss to his daughter in the crowd and u come on here and slag him off if u think he is that much off a dont go watching the team play again ,u . we all get upset at the performances but to slate 1 person because he has acknoldged his wife and family is a joke stay away if upsets u that much

That is about the most sensible post I have read on here during our current debacle. Reasoned and rational. I agree with virtually all you have said whether I like it or not we are stuck with a limited squad playing dour percentage RL. I feel that Jewitt has come in for some ridiculous criticism on here for doing what he does best - mixing it up. Agree that is what we need in the Forwards as opposed to 'rolling over' like we have done for years with a few notable exceptions. If we don't have the skill, we need to have the fight and at least he (Jewitt) gives the effort. Another excellent point is that the Seniors are not giving the younger lads any protection on the field and that, for a TEAM, is absolutely unforgivable! Great Post mate and even made me feel mildly more optimistic about it all

Great post Rob, we need players like Lee, as you say, if ALL the forwards put in what Lee does when he is on the pitch we would have something to applaud.
