John Wilkinson is to be congratulated for actions like this that the club gets involved in. I know of other occasions when the Club has been represented at the funerals of supporters for example. These events are never given publicity but show that Salford is a club that is part of the community which it represents.
The visit to the Fountains brings great credit to those who run the club. I applaud them.

Just shows what a great family club/game we have. when my grandad died John wilkinson and dave tarry both turned up to the funeral, organised a gorgeous floral tribute and arranged for a minutes silence at the game. They were excellent. I have criticised the organisation of the club and the back room staff on occasions but you cant fault them on things like this.

Wondering if any of the media that accused people at the club of having a drink culture will run this story? or if Stevo will do a piece in his column rather than the negative drival he wrote a few weeks back.
