Spot on that man !
Ashcroft was incumbent Coach when Wilkie came in so I didnt class him as a Wilkinson signing , presumably was Keith Snapes.
Wilkinson came in Jan 1982 and Alan McInnes took over in March that year.
I remember watching Salford under Alex Murphy's coaching when they had a 16 game unbeaten league run, lets set the bar high for Mr Parish ..

MEN in utter useless journalism balls-up fiasco. How hard is it? Come on, honestly? And most of us are not getting paid to do it.

The more i read about this guy the more impressed i am, talking about getting the players to buy into the club, its traditions amd making a difference every day trying to become a better person as well as a better player, i hope the players listen to this guy and take on board his ways becasuse at the moment he is making the right noises imo

| NSW have taken player analysis to another level in pursuit of an elusive series win against the "Maroooowwns." (Marooowwns should always be said in you best Aussie country bumpkin accent) Some reports suggest as many as 38 back room staff responsible for getting every ounce out of the NSW performance. I should imagine player sat nav techno-jiggery-pokery has been a tool used by Matt Parish on a regular basis of late...

Very useful for players wishing to take an alternate route to training to avoid traffic jams! Either that or our new coach wants to chip the players so that he knows where they are at all times.

[iGPS technology has revolutionised how team sport athletes prepare and manage themselves:-
Decreased Injuries throughout the year
Better weekly planning
More time spent on speed & power activities
More game specific programming [/i Quote
... in terms of time on pitch, total distance covered, distance covered at low speed run and high speed run, maximum speed and average speed.
* Average time on pitch ranges from 75.63mins for front row to 91.63mins for inside backs * Average distance covered ranges from 4.45km (front row) to 6.84km (scrum half) * Average distance at Low Speed Run1 ranges from 3.15km (front row) to 4.53km (scrum half) * Average distance at High Speed Run2 ranges from 0.15km (front row) to 0.61km (outside backs) * Maximum speed for the positional groups varies from an average of 23.7kmh (front row) to 30.7kmh (outside backs)
.the top individual speed recorded in the 54 matches was 36.7kmh (22.8mph) and the greatest distance covered in one match was 8.2km (5 miles).
Accelerometers in GPS units produce data relating to impacts and body loads on players .

Proceed 5 yards and pass the ball to your winger whilst committing the Full back to the tackle ...

Quote "I have been on the net a few times looking at the Manchester and Salford areas. I am not sure where I will be living at this stage but it will be somewhere close to training. I was actually talking to the Dragons' boys in Origin who trained at The Willows earlier this season when they won the World Club Challenge, so they have been enlightening me on their thoughts of The Willows area which I am not sure I should repeat just yet...", Matt says with a raised eyebrow.

After Reading Boyles tweets everyweek that the "Yorkshire bus" is stuck on the M62 and not moving 3 hours before kickoff its probably needed (i always have the urge to tweet him and say get over here for dinner and have a mooch round salford or even manchester to kill the time rather than sit on the motorway for hours)
I dont think it would be too hard for Mr Parish to find our players, Nandos, Trafford centre, Costa coffiee in walken somewhere still its much better and healthier than in the glory days when players would be in the hope/the height/ Bolton/ manchester boozing it up which is good thing....

| Does anyone know the exact date MP arrives?
The final round of Orrigin is on the 6th July , so he could have a full week before were away to Hull or is it more likely that he'll get here for the Leeds at home game first up?
Salford being Salford though he might not have the right visa clearance or something
