Agree 100% looked good this year in the 20's, hope the earlier post about Smith going to the wing isnt right though, as much as a think Tyrer is Biz in defence there, I dont know if Smith would be much better, im prety sure hes never played there before in his proffesional career. Surely it would make more sense to play Gibbo on the wing if your going to make a change in the wing position.

WTF was that!!!. One of the worst refereeing performance I've ever seen, and 2 touch judges who couldnt make their mind up whether the ball went over the posts or not. Leeds 2nd try came from a forward pass and the 2nd to last was the clearest knock you'll ever see

. How Leeds didnt have a player sent off is beyond me. Great performance by us though. Tyrer had his best game in Red shirt imo.

Agree about Ste Tyrer - from a dismal display at Bradford to a much improved performance today - well done!! just a shame about the result

Couple of shocking decisions by the man in the middle today... and the touch judges weren't much better. When a ball hits the top of the sticks... it's a miss... it's simple.

The performance pleased me... as the effort right through the team was there. However... I can't help but think that we should have converted more points in the first half as a 6 point lead at half time with that much possession... was always going to leave us with a struggle.

All in all... I'm fairly happy as a performance is all I ask for.

Yep agree with that - after all that possession on their line and still we managed to only come away with two tries.

Bentham was borderline farcical at times today. Two, possibly even three, of Leeds' tries should not have been given. I still won't say that it cost us the game as I still think that they would have found a way to win the game because that's what good teams do.

Oh and by the way I did look at the tries we conceded. One of them was from one of the most blatant forward passes I've seen all season and another from Bentham waving play on after two knock ons. I've every right to complain about a refereeing decision if it's incorrect.

Ref was unbelievably awful, in my opinion he ruined what could have been a good game. By the way Leeds 2nd to last try had a forward pass involved aswell, I mean how many forward passes can you actually get away with? But the officials didn't have a clue about anything today, from where I was stood our penalty kick looked like it missed and Leeds DK looked like it missed, but its our own fault really, all the pressure we put on Leeds in the first half and could only score 2 tries is awful. Most of all though what topped today off was Tyrer, all season every game its always been him whose the weak link, consistently out of position and has cost us quite a few games this season to be honest, well all of the right side of the wing is awful at defending, but to be honest hes quality at attacking when he wants to be, but his defense is amazingly shocking.

I don't know about you but I would probably say that "I still won't say it cost us the game" pretty much says I don't blame him for the loss. Regardless of that, I think he is open to criticism for a couple of absolutely shocking decisions that led to tries.

I'm sure if we would of won from 2 tries, one from a forward pass and one from 2 knock on's you would of said something about the ref. Clearly he stated the fact the ref wasn't the reason we lost but it was the fact that we didn't put more points on the board, how can you complain about that? We wasn't the best attacking and our defense in the second half was pretty bad, just hope we get some players back next week and if we continue to put that sort of effort in we'll have a big chance of winning.

Forget bentham,we cost ourselves the game by failing to convert a lot of possesion we had in 2nd quater of game into points!!leeds was well on the rack and we were forcing a lot of errors.Thought young snyed did well(except his failiure to find touch,of which fair play to the lad,he was only trying to find further than the 10 yards matty smith does!!)...ive slated tyrer alot this year,but fair play he prob had his best game of the season,,,we would be stupid to let stu littler go as he did foook all wrong all game like he has all season and shows 100% every week!
All in all not a bad day at the office aginst a team who lately we always seem to perform well against.

You played well, however your left hand side looks very weak, we had a field day down there today

And then probably stated the refereeing decisions, Ive said it one and I'll say it again, we was bad not to punish you more in the first half and the second half our defense was not good at all, but the Ref ruined what could of been a good game making awful decisions for both sides.
