I think it's a fantastic signing if we do get him and for me would be a close second to Patten in terms of our best signings for next season IMO.

That Paul Mcshane could do a good job, is he the young one from Leeds, think hes a hooker? Could be a good move that and Hansen would be a brilliant signing, I'd think that would be the massive signing, but still not sign on Judas, maybe McCrea out and Jimmy Lowes as coach?

Well hes could be counted as a Judas, and smithy seems to think McCrea won't be hear come the beginning of the season, so I thought that could be a possibility.

Somewhere on some thread (maybe the 'Judas' thread) smithy quoted a list of players and said that its one of those, so its not a coach.

Its Michael Platt, unfortunately!! Not really a judas as we released him first time round, however the deal isn't 100%complete yet so I for one will be praying for a problem. After the size of this thread i had high hopes. bit gutted!!

Yeah, Platt and Reardon were both in the list I think, disappointing if its any of them two.

Here it is, which both Platt, Reardon and Korki in. The Wigan fans seem certain Hansen in staying as well, two of them have said hes laughed it off himself so I guess the couple of peoples sources who said he is definitely coming are probably not that good of a source!

Michael Platt our origianal youth product back in the glory days when our reserve system consisted off a mixture of who was available from the local amateur clubs on a wednesday night and An others from rugby union.

I know Michael Platt is unpopular with some Salford (and Bulls) fans, but I'm sure a lot would agree that he's very dangerous in open play, difficult to handle and he knows where the try line is.
Wouldn't be the biggest coup of all time, but maybe a decent squad player ?

I really don't see Hansen coming to Salford either, it wouldn't make sense. For next season we already have half the second rowers in Super League, unless a rich Saudi Arabian is buying the club and wants to buy every half decent player in the NRL and SL. Then call us Man City.

In the interest of not upsetting some of our existing players, it might be a good idea not to sign anyone else anyway.
