| Oooh, so by this time tomorrow, we'll know  . Any idea when the new coach will be starting? Doubt it'll be for against Wakey, but at least the announcement should hopefully give us a bit of a confidence boost before the game. |

An announcement tomorrow, and nobody seems to have a clue who it is.
If Wigan had sent a three man delegation to Australia, held interviews, sounded out the opinions of people in the game in Australia, come back home leaving one of their party there to finalise contracts and get the man signed up properly and then arranged a Press Conference with nobody knowing who it was going to be we'd all have said 'That's the professional way to do things.'
Tomorrow it seems we're going to get the name of a young, ambitious Australian coach who is out to make a name for himself and take us up the table I hope. Whoever it is, the proof of the pudding will be in the eating. He will have a lot of work to do if he is to make us really competitive in all our matches, but I hope he can do it. So, whoever you are I'm right behind you. Good luck.

But this is Salford, and we're different. If you read some of the people on here (and listen to 'John from Salford'), buying a season ticket gives us the [iabsolute right[/i to know everything that's going on at the club, just like buying a weekly saver allows us to know absolutely everything that goes on at FirstBus. |

Point to note , Who had heard of Michael Maguire when Wigan announced their last coach? really .
.. we assumed he'd be a good choice because it was Lenighan & Wigan's choice.
.. presumably we think it's going to be a cheap option because . a) we haven't heard of him b) It's Salford so if he's that good why would he settle for Salford .c) Salford are cheapskates  |

I am getting name sickness there is more coaches getting this job than ever before. Glad it will all be decided tomorrow and the club have done really well to keep it quite this long. All i feel is that the coach is australian as thats where most interviews take place. To me vievers dont seem to have a clue i have to say. Who ever it is lets give him a good salford welcome and hopefully improve on a mess that as gone on for the last few months.
