| Real Ale 4 pints for £10 at Sale on Saturday. Will this offer be on at the Salford game the previous night?

well the last home game it was £2.00 a pint and then for the two hours before kick off £2.50 which is £10.00 for 4 pints for people who have trouble with their maths, you know who you are. Plus that was for all types of ale.

| There was only John Smiths though wasn't there? And I wouldn't really class that as a real ale. It'd be great if the club could get a local brewer in, i.e. Holts - can't see it happening though.

There has been no ale on sale for Salford games, just some poor excuse for "beer".

According to the Stadium Company, the reason why there's real ale on sale for the Sale game when it hasn't been on sale at our games is that Sale simply asked for it...

| As someone who is privvy to what has gone on at Stockport County, the renaming of the stands, blocking out of your badge etc is the start of things to come.
I really really didn't want Sale in an RL ground, Brian Kennedy is a piece of work. He doesn't show his face at all in Stockport and it got to the stage where he was getting threats off Stockport fans (not that I condone this)
From another point of view, Sale got a pretty average attendance for their first game, when they play on a Friday night the train is out of the question-and a lot of them use it, I work at Stockport station.
Hopefully the Salford venture won't work for them and another plan of action for them returning to their own town sooner rather than later will come about, stop them going round wrecking other sports clubs.
You wouldn't believe the difference in enthusiasm at Stockport County now that they have hope to move up again.
Hope it works out for you lot, I feel for you.

| Sale just on BBC Northwest Tonight saying that if they can average 7.5k they will be self sufficient (of Brian Kennedy's money) within 18 months.

| Looks like they'll be self-sufficient pretty quickly then. Their average attendance last year in the league, if I'm not mistake, was around 7900. Add onto that the new stadium factor, and how well they've seemed to manage the transition (compared to us anyway), can see them not being far off the 10k mark.

thats what happens when you charge £47 a seat, but their salary cap is higher I think they will still be dependent in 3 years.

The world champions play at a stadium named after a district of Leeds and Wigan play in a stadium named after a soccer club chairman.
Warrington and Saints are different but Widnes play in a stadium named after the local council and FC play in a stadium named after a telephone group.

Have the same kit but RL's home kit is Red and away is white

| Don't think that you can blame the stadium management company for getting the best offer for stadium naming rights.
What would be interesting is if Salford have an obligation to actively promote this title sponsor or would we be looking for some kind of drop for doing so. Sale will with the exposure they can offer the new sponsor be able to offer the stadium management company a bigger return, hope that the people involved in the sales side at Salford explore any possible revenue generation from this.

As Salford have been involved from the outset you'd think we'd have had first refusal. Do you think we didn't ask, didn't want, or couldn't afford? As far as I'm concerned whoever sponsors it can stick their preferred stadium name up their .

Agreed that said wasn't there a deal in the pipeline with Williams from the outset ?
It's all a bit sad really all them years of hard work to find our co-tennants can call the stadium something " Rugger" Amlin arena ? Hiscox hamlet ? or the Zurich dome .

Good to see you taking the pi =#000000ss out of the future of a club, I don't envy you anyway because RL is knackered on a whole. I'm jumping the sicking ship, RIP.

Think orrigionally we did but in the usual Salfordesque way duck farted about and didn't deliver, afraid to say any decisions and opportunities like that we get that could affect anything that is shared and don't instantly make the most of it we'll lose the chance and Sale WILL act.
I go to watch my team and don't really care one jot what the stadium is called, sure in an ideal world it would be RL related but it's not an ideal world, I mean if it was some of the toe ends on here wouldn't be stealing air from the rest of us decent human beings.

| wonder if Trish Goldsmith had still been around things would have been different I for one am certain it would.
I know allot of people didn't like her methods but she did bring in some very good sponsors.
Her leaving was the worst decision the club have ever made.
