In fairness, Korki has never ever produced a performance like that. Here in lies the problem. Highton as I said previously had the ability and was considered the stand out player at junior level, even more impressive when considering he played alongside Paul Sculthorpe. On occasions he could up his game for the reds, but I never saw him produce the goods on a regular basis. Which could be down to one of two reasons: 1) He didn't try hard enough in training, which means he was never fit enough to produce on a regular basis, or 2) He didn't try hard enough in a game. I remember Robbie Burrow making a mug out of him once, yes I know Burrows has done this to many,but Highton just didn't seem to care.

Paul Highton didnt have the xfactor as a player, he was a grafter both in attack and defence but he wouldnt go on any barnstorming runs and take risks, he had a safe carry so wouldnt turn over much ball a 100%er he,d get up n down and put his shoulder in the kind of player you would want in trenches.

Him and Korki are chalk and cheese, if you want a comparison with Highto perhaps we should be looking @ stapo or Parker as a comparison.

If you compaire Korki to anyone you would have to look at Haggy or Baynes, players who were used to try and lift the side who would turn over ball taking a risk.

All teams need a mix of "steady eddies" and "xfactor players" get the right balance get a good side somthing we have lacked in the past.

Back to judas guessing from a previous thread it looks like Readon is of to celtic so that would rule him our returning

the new season has yet to start ,before you make your quotes red 4 life , just wait and see , not everything can happen overnight , a judas will return , a massive signing is on the cards , and mcCrea days of being in charge are numbered do you honestly think the board are investing the sort of money on quality players to have them coached by a sky tv pundit , if you do , then think again

Goes from a massive signing being announced to its on the cards? I am waiting but about 5 days ago you said a big announcement in the next day or so which also never happened, you could be losing your touch.

i do not think so just wait and see , all will be revealed before the start of the new season ,i rest my case

I certainly wouldnt rule it out, hes probably the biggest 'judas' of them all and we havent signed another hooker so maybe SM will use Matty Smith as a second hooker and Cooke and Holdsworth at half back

There has been much mention of Korkidas in this thread. Did anyone notice how he came back out to speak to McRae who I must say seemed very detached from all that was going on at the end.

Korki and Bomber did look very pally, pally indeed. And he got a great send off from the shed. He is an absolute beast! By the way Latu put in a couple of awesome tackles, one on Sneyd (who I thought had a very good game) that forced a knock on. I reckon we'll get Harrison Hansen at the end of next season when he comes off contract.

I think tha was probably more sentimental than anything given the fact that he was here during Mcraes first season in charge (albeit the relegation!)
