Darrell Goulding - heard his name mentioned again the other day.

Said in the MEN today, "Matty Smith reverting back to Scrum Half", could be an indication Moore's coming to Salford

God I hope so, Goulding inside either Williams or Broughton would be our best wing/centre partnership for God knows how long. Throw in Gleeson and Paton and you've got a backline that just ouzes class.

Why would Matt Parish think we need another centre? We already have Gibson giving us his defensive master class.

Just been looking on the nrl players out of contract for 2012. 2 names pop out of the blue for me which id definately would look at bringing in to stiffen up our pack.Fui Fui Moi Moi from parramatta and Joe Gulavao from Manly . Two awesome props what would frighten a police horse.

I'm hearing that Moore was lined up for Salford but Widnes have offered 'moore' money so he's going there.

With Feka and Anderson both being under contract and both being rather cack can't we simply let it be known that if anyone wants them they can have no for no fee? Pretty sure a Widnes or a Wakey would take one if not both of them. Would imagine that DJ and Patten aside they are the biggest earners at the club?.
I would personally like to see the money saved if we could release them spent on a big no nonesense prop being brought over from the NRL.
Do find the lack of signing activity worrying though, unless any targets we have are still involved in the finals series either over here or in the NRL.

maybe we are being out-bid for targets. On boots and all last night, they were saying that harlequins are spending the FULL cap this season....plus wakey have a new wealthy backer.....which means Im guessing we have the lowest playing budget in the league

Whilst I no its admiralable just how much our directors have put in......wouldnt it have been nice to spend full cap (or near enough) for the first couple of years at the new ground..to build up a head of steam...and attract new fans by winning more games with better players

could be a good strategy for us coupled with the new stadium but it sounds like we are doing the opposite!

Our owners tried pumping money in for the season just gone. Look what happened.

The problem is, we really needed was a new coach who was able to put some trust in the youth players. It was obvious to everybody who stands on the terraces, that keeping hold of McRae would cost the club more in the long run, than paying off his contract.

Still, we live in hope. Wilky may pull some extra cash out from somewhere to fund a quality prop, or we maybe able to get rid off Feka and sign someone else.

Anyone think that Jamie Thackeray would be worth taking on from Barrow (now they are all but dead and buried) on a one year deal? old head in the forwards I'm certain would get more game time than Feka and always had a decent off load on him.

I've heard rumours that another rumour is about to start up. I can't say what it's about - it could be player movements, something to do with the stadium, something to do with the management, something else - but it's definitely on its way. Trust me.
