MANCHESTER City has been signed up by police to help track down missing people.

The club have joined forces with Greater Manchester Police to launch a new initiative highlighting the cases of thousands of people who go missing across the region each year.

Yes this lad did make a d88ck of himself, as his top is quite a few years old i bet he has jumped on the bandwagon and like many reds in Walkden and Little Hulton probably sits in front of his sky or just goes to the pub then is orderd home by his missis. i for one were there when they were in the depths of div 2 and i am there as hopefully we COULD win something SOON. I have never seen so many City shirts around this year as I have in previous seasons.Yes the wagon has pulled up and the band has certainly started.
So when your ticket prices are higher than anyone elses, you never have a game on a Saturday, your ground is full of day trippers, corporate have more of a say over normal fans, fans from Manchester cant afford to go any more.
Then I will just smile and and think to myself what all those Berties have been saying for years and years.

no not going, sons 18th that weekend, but as PR says we have drank most of Europe dry including Rome. but in Barca the Cafe Zurich at the top of La Ramblas is an ideal place to drink and change your "Manchester Euros"



And as for last night, got to the match 30 mins late due to my mate's daughter (a solicitor) leaving their tickets at home in Bradford where she now works, so it was nice journey over the top to get back to Burnley.

My sons mate works in the shop and the person who printed it had no idea what it meant, I know its wrong but from the comments on the MEN site the Scousers seem to think we only think of them 24/7, well there is a world outside Liverpool.
But I suppose all the jolly scouse banter about Harold Shipman and the T-Shirts sold outside Anfailed depicting his crimes means we label all scousers as scum.

As DD mentioned, the programme editor was sacked for that mistake/oversight/idiocy and the club threaten to ban fans who chant about Munich at CoM. At least the club are looking to deal with the issue. Unlike the bankrupt elves...

Shall we ignore your goading of away fans into 'performing' aeroplanes, the references to MVF and John Hartson in Red Tissue, the chants relating to Heysel, Hillsborough, Galatasaray etc.?

???? what chants, I go every week and stand in the Stretford end and as I go live near to United and you don't I think I am more likely, in fact the only chant you may hear is Justice for Heysel, and I bet at Anfailed they chant justice for Hillsborough (which I am lead to believe by a solicitor friend of mine is all about the levels of compensation which were paid out, and a laying of the blame) So i am afraid my friend these "chants" are not normally sang at OT bot usually amongst a bunch of idiots.
I sometimes wonder when I see some fans calling one set of fans for one activity and then doing it themselves. These are not fans just the dregs of society who attach themselves to a club and see these chants as some sort of allegiance to that club and we will not ever change that. So in my humble opinion most clubs have about 5% of fans who are scum and morans whether they are match going or not and the most vocal and obscene don't attend matches.

I wouldn't disagree.
