It was a diabolical decision by the ref and both lines man.
Surely 1 out of 3 could have seen that the ball wasn't even played.

| Starting to fall away now but its been a case of one team taking their chances and one not. A low quality game with a shambolic sub-Channel M commentary. A good effort reds but not clinical enough

| Mylers defence is woeful, Ratchford needs someone on his shoulder all the time if you are going to come back into this.

Twice Gardner had the ball and it was stolen, and the ref' has said it was a knock on, give it a break.

| A fair bit better in 2nd half.
Quins were just more clinical near the line, and they got the bit of luck just at the right time.
Ratchford had a very good all round game.
The lack of skill and power from our centres and wingers is there for all to see and needs sorting.
..............having said that, Mark Henry had his best game so far.

| Id stick with Ratchford at six for the Batley game. Agree that we lack penetration out wide (no smutty pun intended) After the first few games of the season we were hoping to be competative in games and as the season has progressed you can see we have improved but we had enough ball today and last week to have won those games with a bit more composure. I feel a lot more positive about us than i did six or seven games ago...now if we could only sort out the pesky new stadium issue!!!!!

| We started playing the best RL of the season with 15 to go but we have to find a centre to replace Araldite Littler. How many tries are coming down his channel? Another one today when he missed a vital tackle - he has to go - throw another young un in Sean - Nowt to lose.

| Thought we conceded a couple of soft tries tbh, excluding the one that never should have been. We lacked a little go-forward confidence in the first half and we need to be more clinical sometimes. We didn't play too bad. Ratchford was excellent, and tbh we gifted them the game really. The same as last week.
No complaints with the players. They all gave their all. With a little more luck it could have been the other way around.
A steady improvement...
...and that's all we asked for this season.

| The first try shouldnt have been given. Henry didnt go for the ball and he waved back to 1. Wards knock on was an absolute joke. Reminds me of the 1 Peacock did a few years ago. Its a shame that a great staduim and an enjoyable day is messed up by stupid decisions against us AGAIN.
There was a lot of positive signs there tho. I think Cashmere is getting better each week and were alot better defensively.

| Been to the game just got back to the hotel to get changed. Same as last week a lot of pressure but just cant turn it into points. The last 5 mins of the first half had a couple of decent chances and with the bounce of the ball could of gone in 4 points up. 2nd half for the first 15 mins just could not turn the pressure into points. A big plus was Ratchfords performance he really needs a good run of games in his preferred position.
A big minus though was i managed to speak to a certain club official . I asked him about how contract negotiations were going with the little genius apparently he agreed a new contract before the France england game last year but after the game his agent wanted to double the agreed wage! I dont think the club are that impressed with Richies choice of agent and reading between the lines a new contract is no way nearer but it was stressed that he is under contract for the rest of this season and next.

Agents have destroyed the careers of many players in the past - badly advising them on which club(s) to go to. Yes, the players are adults but these vermin can do the spin and turn a players' head. They are a most distasteful element in sport but unfortunately, the players need them.

Think you're being hugely harsh on Littler. Yes, he missed a couple of vital tackles but several of our players were equally guilty of exactly the same today, in equally important positions.
Defence is a team activity, poor defence is a team responsibility.

FL - We are never going to get near the level required with Stu in the side. We need to Cut the sentiment - his time is up. His defence has been woeful this season and he just can`t or won`t part. A loyal servant but we need more than that.

You're entitled to your opinion on Littler, but that doesn't change what I said - he doesn't deserve to be singled out for poor defence today, because LOTS of our players were equally guilty of exactly the same.

Robbie Paul gives us another aspect to our play that Mal doesn't and both he and John Wilshere had a good games today, John made probably one mistake all game, as for Mal, leave him on by all means and replace one of the 2nd rowers, with Robbie but we do look to have other options in attack. As for Robbie's tackling today he did puy in a shift. I'm afraid you have exposed your lack of appreciation for jobs well done by these two today. Fitzy is now not as good a fullback as Wilshere.
I reckon today all 17 did well and we again showed we will compete with the rest of the teams in SL, I can see a few more wins coming our way and more improvement next season.

| I agreee about the one mistake by Wilshere but it was a pretty dumb one. Also in my opinion he is far too casual once he's got the ball in his hands. He just trots up to the first tackler and takes the tackle. It loses us yards. he needs to run harder with the ball and make a few yards before the chase get up to him. Its like he's programmed.
In my opinion today I thought we played well in places but made too many wrong decision. Positive for me was Myler/Ratchford partnership. Thought it showed a lot of promise. The big plus for me over the last few weeks though is the determination. Before Hull in the cup after it went 18-10 it would have been our cue to lay down and let a team walk all over us. We are not doing that now. step in the right direction.

| Though disappointed with the result, I think we are moving in the right direction but:-
I think that we need to try to be more expansive with the ball. I am not asking for us to throw the ball about recklessly and I know we've had significant injury problems behind the pack, but we will find it very difficult to open up Super League defences by just driving up the middle.
If Henry and Goulding are centres why do we play them on the wing with a loose forward in the centres?
I think we should play Ratchford at 6. That could mean that we could put Smith at full back (or bring Fitzpatrick back) so that Wilshere could play on the wing.
What does Adam Sidlow have to do to get into the 17 each week. I'm afraid I don't see how certain other forwards get in ahead of him. Am I missing something about his performances?
The next few games will define our season. Victories will increase the confidence levels and set us up for a good second half of the season. Here's hoping!

I couldnt agree more. Littler is past it and is just not Super League level anymore, if he ever was in the first place. He is too slow and people just seem to run straight through him. Littler and Myler standing next to each other in defence is a disaster waiting to happen because neither can defend. This in addition to the fact that Littler cant/wont pass. Has he passed to his winger at all this season? I doubt it very much and he has blown tries the last few weeks as a result.
We are 4 or 5 players short of being really competitive at this level. Players like Littler, Paul and some of the forwards (who are all much the same but if we replaced 2 or 3 with better players then it would make a huge difference) are not good enough at this level.

| Hi Quins fan here and hope you dont mind me popping on and saying i felt you were hard done by over the Ref and the dropped ball from Danny Ward. IMO i think either team played at their best and a fair result in my eyes would have been a draw.
As for the Refs over the whole of MWE i dont think their wasnt a game that something wasnt missed and lead to a try.
I was really impressed with Myler and your other young kid Ratchford, i hope you are able to keep hold of both these and able to build something round them. As a lot of you have said its a worry that Offiah is Myler is his agent, i dont blame you, he's an agent for 5 of our players, and most worrying is he has 2 of our promising youngest yet to make SL starts on his books, and not only that Will Sharp too and we like to keep them all. But just cant help feel he do a number on him and your guy Myler like he did with Worrincy and tell him he be better of at a bigger club, where in Offiahs words "your learn more and become a bigger star"
