He did leave the field of play!
You were obviously so busy chanting tasi's name you missed that bit!
Quote ="red in buxton"It looks to me like shoulder then head, a LITTLE late, Brough would of got a Oscar for that in Hollywood, laid on the ground then got up when Poor Tasi was sent of.
I suspect the reason Brough went of , injured ??????? was becuse they were beat, and was laying it on very thick to get Tasi a ban on tues '
For me it should of been put on report, Hicks nor the linesmen, saw anything and the game was playing on , untill the hudds players started shouting at the ref.
But we are Salford and the RFL dont like us and Tasi will poss get a 4 match ban. and if the RFL could they would take the 2 points of us aswell.'"
Well you do talk some rot. You clearly haven't watched the incident at all- if it was a LITTLE late the ball would be somewhere near the play....if you had you'd know that tasi was sent off AFTER brough left the field.
It's not football- players don't feign injury and certainly not brough. What a disgraceful suggestion for someone who was clearly knocked out on the field of play. I'm sure McKinnon would expect several oscars if you were a judge.
How do you know the linesman or ref saw nothing- were you party to the conversation they had via mike or on the field? Or is this another fantasy like brough getting up after tasi was sent off?
Let's wait and see what the disciplinary decide- no doubt if they don't agree with you they will be wrong.

You're fully entitled your opinion but you are certainly in danger of over egging this particular pudding.
Tasi was late,but no more.
Brough was hurt as he could have been in any tough tackle.
Tasi will be banned.
What's really troubling you ?
Is it that your team, who have physically dominated in the past, got second prize in yesterday's arm wrestle ?

Nah we are used to underperforming against Salford- it happens every year.

Surely there must be more pressing concerns over on the Hudds board than constantly prattling on on ours? There's a difference in opinion between fans. Some see it one side of the scale, some see it the other. Still others see it somewhere in between. It was hardly the turning point, as Salford dominated after the sending off. Tasi is not a dirty player. A hard player, yes. Dirty? no. If he's found to have got it wrong then so be it. I don't understand why certain Hudds fans are keeping this topic going.

| I am really struggling to understand the 'tasi will be found guilty brigade on here.'
I will not accept that it is clear cut he was late. Brough caught a really tough bang in the back after he passed. He was not expecting being hit and relaxed after the pass. I believe any damage that he received was caused by his head hitting the floor.
I will not be shocked if he is banned, but I hope the Salford club offer a serious not guilty plea.

I fail to see where Huddersfield fans are keeping this topic going. Its comments grom both sets of fans. Whats the issue with a few sensible posts on our board?
Tasi is a tough player and yesterday was out of character but it was a cheap shop. Anout as cheap as they come, from the 89p shop. I hate late reckless tackles on kickers and they have no place in our game.

| Thought Tasi`s challenge on Brough was late rather than malicious, no problem with the red card.Personal view is the sending off should be sufficient. No doubt we will find out on Tuesday.

That was a brutal game with a lot of late hits by the big Samoan forwards on the French playmakers. There was at least one sin bin and 2 players were later cited and banned.

| The most ironic thing about all of this is Paul Anderson moaning about cheap shots! Huddersfield coach of all people moaning about cheap shots, really???? Greg Johnson anyone? How long was he out for? He had 3 separate head shots on him at our place!

| I think it's a pretty cheap shot to fall on Theo Fages after he's scored a try. I think Junior had a word.
The Tasi tackle and the physicality of this particular game is being built up into something it doesn't merit.
I thought we watched a good Salford performance against a Huddersfield team that appeared to have gone off the boil a bit. We played well but caught them on a bad day for them and a good day for us.

| Quote Harris- "The policy is that we're physical," he said. "I want them to be aggressive and dominant defensively and I thought we were. The by-product of that is that you do hurt people sometimes."'"
I'm warming to Harris, he's not as verbose as the previous 'gob for hire', and he dresses like a tramp. but what he does say is frank & not overstated .
the sport in it's dash for Heath & Safety & political correctness have forgotten that it's supposed to be a physical game & is not a game that can be played half heartedly .
I didn't think saturdays game was played with any agenda to harm. ( Penatly count was 6 apiece) but mis-timed & late challenges do occur.
Tasi's tackle was a bad one , late - high and one's Brough's blind side as he passed the ball. I leave it to the disciplinary to determine . but I wouldn't want Tasi or Harris to alter his ' physical policy '
. with over 600 tackles in the game you must expect this with two committed defences.

Which shows what bias can do to some people's opinions.
It was late, it was bad, but I don't think it was intentional. That's the crux - the intention. Nothing else should surely be under discussion?

There's only one person who can tell if it's intentional or not and I doubt Tasi will come on here and own up if he did target Brough.

| GT how could it be bad,if it wasn't intentional?
If he didn't mean to do it,it was not bad.
BIAS : no idea what that means.Judge the incident for what it was, unintentional, probably carried out by a fully committed player, who will probably be suspended. I hope he gets an early guilty plea!

I think you're getting bogged down with the semantics of the word 'bad'. The sinking of the Titanic was unintentional, but still pretty bad!

Is there any point trying to have a reasoned debate here?
A tackle can end up being bad in, any sport that involves physical contact, even if it is unintentional. It happens. I think Tasi's reaction at the time showed you that he knew it was a bad challenge. There's no conspiracy, there's no poor officiating, just recognition that it was a bad challenge. I cannot believe that this is even up for debate. Then again, maybe I can...
