| Giants coach Paul Anderson admitted his side's performance "wasn't good enough" but was critical of Salford's aggressive approach, claiming they were guilty of a host of "cheap shots".
"It seemed that way," he said. "Broughy was knocked to the ground after he passed the ball.
"My disappointment once Broughy and Eorl (Crabtree) and Robbo (Luke Robinson) got knocked out was that, our blokes didn't rip in and absolutely knock 10 bells out of the bloke that did it because one cheap shot deserves another."
seems mr Anderson has a short memory. I seem to recall one of their players breaking johnson jaw and got away withno punishment

| The difference is, we got a bloke sent off for the cheap shot, they didn't. Massive difference.

| Quote ="John Gilbert Reds"So in the last few weeks against us, Warrington, Castleford and now Huddersfield have all played poorly? Nothing to do with Salford playing well at all.
Superb performance today, not many teams have gone their in recent times and won so emphatically (score board doesn't do the performance justice). Fantastic debut from both Kevin Locke and Mason Caton-Brown, but that result has been coming for some weeks all without Hock and Hansen too. Huge credit to Harris, he's had his doubter on here but the improvement in recent weeks has been visible.
Huge game against Hull on Saturday, the old Salford would get battered lets see if we really have turned a corner and got ourselves back into the play-off race.'"
Welcome to Wakefield's world!
Even the SKY team were at it on Friday when we beat Leeds when all they could talk about was how many players Leeds had missing but no mention of the players missing for Wakefield, Kirmond, Lauitiiti, Sammut, Walshaw, Anderson, Collis, Annakin.
They even tried to diminish our wins over London Wigann and our draw with Hull by saying that we caught them all at the right time.
Well done on your performance against Huddersfield

He didn't "get away" with no punishment -he received no punishment -because he did nothing wrong! I seem to remember a host of Salford fans calling murphy all names under the sun? Surprisingly they aren't saying the same about their own- notice neither are we!
The sickest bit was tommy lee shaking his hand as he left the pitch-along with failing to go immediately down the tunnel, I also recall your fans going on about our fans reaction to your player being injured- I take it they weren't the ones jeering whilst brough was on the floor then?
Let's hope just like murphy tasi gets the punishment he deserves - hopefully you can discuss it with tasi whilst he's sat on the stands with you for the next few weeks.
Salford have improved enormously (well they couldn't get much worse) we have been "winning ugly" for the past few weeks and this loss was coming you only need to go back and read our board over the last few weeks to see we are not performing. Credit to Salford for how they played, but it's no great win to beat us, we only just squeezed past London.

| So the Huddersfield coach makes a point of us playing dirty! Cheap shots etc! Well they got a taste of there own medicine imo. Them at our place this year were leading with the elbows, throwing the high cheap shots and Greg Johnson as a result got his jaw broke. Karma is a bitch sometimes.

Remind me how many of these cheap shots actually existed in the eyes of the disciplinary? I'm sure we will find out how much of a bitch on Tuesday.
You try and take the moral high ground if it makes you feel better. The bans will tell the truth.

| Greg Johnson didnt get his jaw broken by a leading elbow from murphy, it happened earlier in another tackle leading to a try, he carried on playing with the jaw and came off a few mins after tackling murphy where murphy was penalised.. people get confused putting the two together but it happened before this. No charges either.

but yet not one huddersfield player was cited as a result of these "cheap shots" johnson's jaw was broken in a tackle not by a "cheap shot".
as for bullying teams, we haven't done that for a while, it's one of the things we moan about week in week out that we are not aggressive enough, you bullied us yesterday and we didn't want to know.

| I didn't see Murphy do anything wrong in the home game, and I wasn't there yesterday.
I have read the post match comments by the 2 head coaches.
There does seem a pattern emerging from Huddersfield, started by their previous head coach

Salford have gone all season without being accused by any other club of 'cheap shots'.

Apparently some bell-end Hudds fan threw a bottle at Tasi when he was coming off, and Hock squirted the fan with water. Don't know if it's true or not, just saying what I've heard.

| Good to see our pack bullying Huddersfield. Tasi misjudged his hit, we all know he isn't a dirty player but these things can happen easily in rugby league. We were down to 10 men for the majority of the second half, yet still dominated.
Very impressive.
Ps shame it wasn't Murphy on the receiving end of Tasi's hit.

| every pack bullies ours,it's not a scalp anymore.
and yet again murphy wasn't charged with anything in the easter game, get over it.
the fact that we were still bullied and dominated against 10(??) men was even more disappointing.but without our 2 main leaders i suppose it was to be expected.

I'd be interested to know your definition of a dirty player. Tasi has played one season in SL- just 19 games, he's conceded 16 penalties (the highest is 18 this season) but been cited three times already this season (late, high, shoulder charge-looks like he finally got one with all three!) that's more than murphy has been cited for in his whole SL career!
Ps I hope Locke is on the receiving end of a similar tackle. Let's see how your attitude changes then.
And 10 men- wow! Perhaps you should have been given Eorl and robbo were also taken out off the ball- stick to football pal- you can't know less about that.

| Penalties conceded do not define whether a player is dirty or not, I would guess the majority of those are through being caught offside or lying on in the tackle. How many games has he missed through suspensions this season?
He's a kid in terms Super League props, highly inexperienced and will occasionally get things wrong. The referee dealt with he incident well and sent him off, no further 'justice' needed.

I've read your posts and thought that you make some valid points in a reasonable way. To WISH harm on a player to make a point is bang out of order. Your posts are also deteriorating into childish tit-for-tat which is doing you no good. Regardless of the incident, which has been dealt with to Hudds satisfaction (After all, he got a straight red which is the max punishment) Like you said with regards to Murphy and Johnson, if all the other Hudds players were 'taken out' then why haven't Salford players been punished for it? Using your argument, it must mean that they didn't do anything yes?
Do yourself a favour and stick to arguing with other Hudds fans, something that you seem to be good at. Because at the rate you are going on here, your posts are going to become embarrassing sometime soon.

any idea how much you contradict yourself? No further justice needed for tasi but wishing injury on murphy- a player who prior to this year had only ever been up before the disciplinary once in his entire career! Penalties are given against players who break the rules of a game. 3 times in 19 games is "getting it wrong" more than most. Even those inexperienced.

So he put one on report? But you said that Salford players had taken out half your side? Which means, by your own logic, that only another one incident (possibly) could have occured due to foul play. Your maths don't add up.
