In his own way the Doc did start his own stance by dropping into his chat about the proposed new Swinton ground that we could end up playing there. Don't think he was as vociferous but non the less he has made it clear he is not happy.
To be fair the SMC can do very little about the transport links it is what it is until the relief road is completed, I wonder what difference the lights on the motorway roundabout will make on match days, said from the get go there needs to be old fashioned Police directing traffic to allow the best flow, you'd not get the selfish s who use the wrong lane coming off the motorway to avoid the queue that way.
I was told that when the old regime were in charge that a local cleaning company undercut the ones that won the contract yet still didn't get the gig, they were prepared too give back to Salford whatever they got for the contract in a sponsorship deal too.
Think Salford and Sale need to try and coordinate the way this is handled as together united they would create a much bigger headache for the SMC.
Were we not told that the concourses would be brightened up for the start of the season and one area in particular turned into a more dedicated Salford area? I haven't seen any evidence of this, we were also told that a new larger scoreboard was being investigated and to the best of my knowledge we still have the converted I-pad in the east stand.
As for Azure the SMC should look to whoever runs the operation at Manchester City's ground as every time I've been there it seems to run seamlessly, just for God sake don't allow that fat tongued tw@ Jamie Oilver anywhere near Barton.
