but if there still is cash flow issues mid move , ( 1 home game since sept 2011 , most of the season ticket business is not monthly not upfront , no merchandise sales as such in the lead up to to xmas ) it's no surprise .

the difference in semantics between 8,000 ' to survive ' or 8,000 regular attendances to enable Salford to be a top 5 club are vast .

In truth he is not going to say they can settle for 5 or 6K averages when their 8 K target was in their franchise submission.

as people have pointed out , the rejected betting title sponsor would have given the SL clubs £50,000 each up front , we didn't, they got a poster of Stephen Wild on a hairy ar5e Truck.

Been trying to read up on Salford's finances and does anyone know when Salford are due to repay the £350k loan to Salford council and what the money that the sale of the Willows has been spent on? Sorry if this is retreading over other threads but just interested in what seemed like such a decent situation for your club, but now struggling to find £50k to pay the taxman.

We need 8k to spend the full salary cap and compete with the best teams. If we don't get 8k then we simply can't spend the full cap. Its nothing to do with breaking even!

We owe the taxman 50k,plus interest,thats 50k the club has to find what could of been spent elsewhere,Tarry comes across as if its no big deal,of course it is,it will just turn up,we will juggle the books,its just the way that guy comes across that pi..es me off.So what worries me now is where does the next payment to the taxman come from,its a sorry state of affairs again.

Just a thought for you MM on running a seasonal business such as SFC. In the 'off' season the players are still being paid yet from September to February there is no gate income. Its called a cash flow crisis nothing more and that no doubt is why Tarry is confident in overcoming the position with so many home games in the next few months.
