I assue that cheaper train goes via Victoria? I looked yesterday and it looks like a tenner cheaper on the Victoria-Bradford line than going out via Leeds, but it's a replacement bus as far as Hebden Bridge as far as I can see.

Can't imagine it being quite as busy as past years this weekend.

On the trains front, it's £9.80 return if you change at Huddersfield, or £18.20 of you change at Leeds. Bit of a no brainer.

Get the train from Man Vic to Walsden return and then from Walsden to Bradford return. You don't actually leave the train but by cutting the journey in two at this point you avoid paying the extra £3 for crossing the Yorky border. Local knowledge by the Red Preacher!!!) =D


D'oh! Bus replacement service in operation between Man Vic and Hebden Bridge. I think I might cycle to Hebden Bridge and get the train from there!!!

the 12:11 from Piccadilly to bradford via Huddersfield is £9.80 return coming back on the 18:35 from Bradford. better than a bus to Hebden Bridge and only an hour or so.

If you get the train to Huddersfield, you can get a bus from Huddersfield direct to Odsal Top roundabout. Think it runs every half an hour and takes about 25 minutes.

massive game this one personally, bradford are in freefall @ the moment, coach left, lost a lot on the spin so they to need a win to stop the rot.
