Thats why I said partly his fault, Whiting fault for the first try haad no chance on the others as was left with a massive overlap.

It would appear Turner was very good tonight, some saying his best game for us yet.

Well done to those who travelled across, i know its a long old journey even more so on a friday night. Good close first half and you never stopped trying all game. Hope you get a few more wins this season though.

didnt think you guys did a great deal wrong tonight. Seemed as though you was just a little short of something special. Defended quite well and on another day the result may have been reversed. Still i thought in attack we had that little extra, which told at times. All the same, well done and good luck for the rest

It was a strange old game tonight, we did alright for patches of the game but made too many errors in our own half & gave away far too many silly penalties to give ourselves a chance. I'm sure that Salford are the only team in Super League who could see the opposition go down to 12 at 0-0 & then concede 12 points without scoring in the 10 minutes. On the plus side the 2 tries we scored were as good as anything you'll see this season. Sidlow's solo effort will long be remembered by the handful who were there.

Both Salford tries were an excellent piece of rugby.

Especialy the first one, try of the match for me. You know it's a good try when an opporsion try draws appluse from the East Stand.

Salford are a good team. They just need a bit more self belief IMO.

I thought we put in a lot of effort last night against a Hull team that played with a lot of self-belief and confidence. Unfortunately it was a fairly familiar story as their bigger pack did a lot of damage. They made more yards than us and managed to offload the ball in the tackle many times so that we had to work even harder on defence.
We scored two good tries that were worth the journey, but we lacked creative flair when we needed it and foolishly threw the ball away in the last ten minutes or so as we chased a game we were never going to win once Hull had scored in the second half.
They were better than us and deserved the win but I was left wondering how close we could have got if Phil Leuluai hadn't lost the ball right in front of our sticks in the second tackle after we had made it twelve apiece.
Still, at risk of sounding like our coach, we can take a lot of positives into the Castleford game!!
