WTF?

It's not rocket science pal. Other clubs and thier numbers of Aussies are not really gonna be disucussed on a thread about Salford v Celtic - hence there aren't going to be comments on lack of chances for Enlish players at those clubs on this thread.

The number of foreign players in the League generally is dissapointing particularly when we have just had the disastrous WC and everyone was bemoaning the lack of an English talent pool....................................What then happens, across the League, is that every club looks for loopholes to get players registered. From the top at Leeds and their "English" WC winning prop to sadly ourselves (hopefully not the bottom!) looking for ways to get Stapo and Lulu off the quota.



As a sport we are moving in the right direction but still all clubs look for those loopholes.

What will the score be on Saturday? Salford 22-10 Celtic

What player shoudl we fear most? Stapo

What player of ours do you fear most? Dick van Dyke

Where will either team finish this season? Salford - 12 Celtic - 14

Where do you see both clubs in 5 years time? Salford - Superleague champions, holders of the Challenge cup and world club championship
Celtic - Steady Superleague outfit

well as long as the loopholes are left open what club is going to unilaterally agree to "do the right thing" whilst all of their competitors are bending every rule and unearthing every irish third cousin's granny's husband?
