Could be involved it says....Alker was mentioned somewhere as a possibility for ireland...maybe Jeremy Smith in the NZ squad though I doubt it massively having not played regularly for Souths this year...and obviously The Brock will be the first name on Tony Smith's team sheet - if not I for one wont be watching. |

On the subject of centres I personally would love to see Ryan Atkins come over from Wakey, rate him in the top 4 or 5 British centres and as such would make him a much better offer than Wakey are. Either that or go as I always say for a huge big raw boned south sea islander and nurture him, there never seems to be a shortage of them down under so try to find a young reserve grader in the NRL or feeder system them give them a punt.

Just a quick update, for those who don't follow the NRL, on our other signing Ray Cashmere who had an absolutely dominating performance against in-form (albeit injury struck) Canberra earlier today. Can't wait to see this guy playing for us next season.

Didnt mention any clubs but I asked him if it was Wigan and he just dismissed it out of hand. Maybe its Salford? Cant think of any other SL clubs over there looking for a centre? |
