Salford City have appointed Paul Wright as their latest manager. The ex Flixton manager is the third man to occupy the hot seat at Moor Lane this season.
Wright's first game in charge will be for the Ammies visit to Curzon Ashton
this coming Saturday ko 3:00 pm.

I'm off to Woodley-Rossendale, seemingly the only game in the North West (apart from Bury) that is going ahead.

FCUM stole a late 1-0 victory! Boston ruled the first half, but FC got on top in the second half with Kyle Wilson scoring late on to secure the victory!

Just a shame GT wasn't there to see it

He's ok to play now but hasn't been picked yet. Decent song that. Can't remember the words to ours but it seemed quite catchy.

Fielding no less than seven debutants in their starting line up together with a further three on the subs bench Salford put in a battling performance despite losing 2-4 at home to Skelmersdale in the Unibond Presidents Cup.

Salford City's Moor Lane ground should host it's largest crowd for many years when league leaders AFC Halifax Town are the visitors this coming Saturday. The Yorkshire side who were demoted from the Conference only last season expect to bring around 500 supporters.
Should be a great atmosphere and a chance for the Ammies to avenge the 7-1 drubbing they received at the Shay earlier in the season.

Salford City were desperately unlucky not to gain at least one point with their best performance for weeks going down 1-0 at home to league leaders AFC Halifax Town in front of nearly 600 spectators.

FC won 2-0 at home to Prescot Cables in front of 2,045 people.
