He finished his development elsewhere and i feel he is a better player now than if he had stayed.
If he does sign im sure he'll want to right a few wrongs plus it will be good news for jezza smith as the crowd can get on somebody elses back now instead

Well we havnt been world champions, won superleague or challenge cups in the last 10 or so years so id have to say we are going up as they are coming down, as their team is a pale comparison now full of journey men, with a poor ground, dwindling support (compaired to the good times) dodgy coach and maybe the odd goodie player to carry them thou, until they retire or get injured and i recon they will sink like a stone?

As we have been promoted, got a new stadium development starting with good youthful and hungry english players in our ranks, with promising new season tickets campaign id say we are moving in a forward direction

Am I the only one who thinks that there's a good chance the story is a load of rubbish. He's not long signed a contract extension and I hardly think we're in a position to be buying players out of their contract unless he's having it terminated.

I'm with you. This story has been going on for 3 days now and there is still no word from the club. I would hazard a guess that even if they are having talks with him, he hasn't actually signed yet. Papers can't "confirm" anything without an official announcement from the club and I am not aware of one being made yet.

No, you're not. Certainly wouldn't be the 1st time that a rumour appears on RLFans & is subsequently taken as gospel by a lazy journo.

In today's MEN Steve Simms is quoted as saying that we have no plans to sign Michael Platt.

I can only assume this story started in Bradford. It's fairly common knowledge throughout the game that Platt isn't well rated by the vast majority of Bulls fans!

thats not quite correct. theres a sizeable minority of bulls fans that make platt a scapegoat for anything that goes wrong. general feeling is that we dont want to lose him, although we wouldnt like to see him as fulltime fullback, he's been looking much improved at and as a general utility back is a useful player to have in the squad.

You can cover one in glitter though

My comment was based on having read several negative Platt threads in the past with many Bulls fans being critical about his ability.
