Not bothered about soccer owners
Moran stayed loyal to Cullen for more than 5 games. He treated Cullen with a degree of decency unseen by Veivers.
However after this outburst:
www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-league/21642083
surely heads must roll. Someone must be blamed.
Did Longy get the job at half time? Things did improve in the second half so the revolution continues.....next up saints away

And given Koukash's post London comments who will be publicly blamed and sacked for tonight's slaughter. If veivers was the problem who is now?
If no one is blamed people may think Dr K is losing his passion

| Wire putting 40+ past us isn't nice but it's a lot easier to take in than London putting 40+ past us. I'm sure the doctor understands the difference.

However London did not score 40+ and Wolves have lost 2 on the bounce and are severely depleted. And you do not have the 'problem' that was Veivers.
Slaughtered by a depleted wolves and given Dr K will not tolerate such failure who has failed?
Maybe this week the director who put Hunte in charge should get the flick?

| If Tony Smith was to leave, would Vievers be offered the Warrington job? No, he wouldnt. Infact he probably wouldn't be given the opportunity of an interview. The same applies for the majority if not all other clubs in Super League too. So why should we settle?
Harsh fact is he wasn't the man to lead our club into the Koukash revolution.

| Dont worry about them RW as they are only kids with no idea of what the sensible Reds fan`s understanding of the situation is. Its all about patience currently.
For the Wires fans who didnt see the London game tonights effort by the Reds was much improved. Long way to go but we are going the right way.

Come on its entertaining. what do you think the reds will demand this week? They can play with 3 extra players on the field? Unlimited interchanges? 8 tackles for salford in posession?....just to even things up.
And which players, coaches or directors will be sacked next?
Plenty of publicity guaranteed. Very exciting.

The doctor just wants everything in place as soon as possible. As soon as he gets in the people he wants the club will progress. Understandably at the moment he is a little bit frustrated with what he see's. He will get it right. This man does not accept failure, and rightly so.

| I didn't see tonight's match, but my son was there. His opinion was that Salford did little wrong in defence but were physically dominated by the Warrington pack. Man on man. That calls into question the advice and experience of the conditioner, as Wigan found out under Millward, when many thought they might be relegated and the lads in the team didn't think they were strong enough to deal with what was in front of them. While being the responsibility of the coach, the conditioner has a huge say in the ability of the team to perform.
Taking Wigan as an example again, Maguire took the same team to greater heights than Noble, because he had brought in a top RL conditioner. It had more to do with their strength, fitness and agility than with the actual coaching.
AH has not had that benefit. So give him some slack.
I am more concerned about the attacking play. Last season, with Longy in charge of attack, despite conceding many soft tries, the team were able to score. Two of the last three matches indicate that the patterns need to be refreshed, as the opposition seem to know what to expect now.
And ignore the trolls!

Couldn't agree more, thought at times last night the team as a whole looked out on it's feet and it also struck me that for some reason players are seeming to try to turn their back in tackles which then leads to them being dragged down and onto their backs on the floor which leads to a much slower play the ball.

I thought our defending was awful again, especially inside our own 10. Every time Warrington got there they looked certain to score. Granted I didn't have the best of views but what happened for Reilly"s try near the end of the first? Our defence looked like a comedy sketch.
Fitness and organisation plays a huge part in defending, I'm hoping until a new coach is appointed Hunte can improve on this because its getting particularly worrying. That's 160 points conceded in 4 home games this season!
The days of the Shed cheering every tackle we made as we continued to keep teams out with our astute defence seem a long time ago, but we'll get there. Patience needed.

| For Salford this season is just about a getting through it. At the moment it's hard to justify £20 to watch a team get hammered........ I know some people will talk about true fan but its the harsh fact of the economic times.
Get a coach in place and start recruiting for next season as soon as possible. A couple of decent signings and and attendances will rise next season.
As somebody has already said, Rome wasn't built in a day. At Warrington it took time from Simon Moran coming in to us actually challenging for silverware.

The conditioner is a vital position to get right. Remember 2006 when we finished in 5th place and had Eddie McGuiness (former Bradford) as conditioner. He was then replaced after some fallout with Karl Harrison and we got relegated the following season despite having arguably having a stronger sqaud.

Just to remind you,the Wigan guy,now with England, was recruited from rugby union, just like Mark Barry was.

Think the conditioning was conducive to the one-dimensional style of play used by Wigan.
Wigan may also have better facilities.
Last night, how many times were Gleeson,Gibson and Broughton used as first receiver ? Not too difficult for Warrington to dominate and you can only hypertrophy the muscle you have.

| One positive I will take from the game was the performance of Theo behind a beaten pack. I thought he tried hard all night and took the line on well at times and his support play was good, he was always on the shoulder looking for the offload, the only one who was. I thought he was head and shoulders above his half back partner.

I know you shouldn't let the facts interfere with a good put down attempt, but if you check your facts, you will find that Maguire joined Wigan prior to 2010 while Lima, Hoffman and Finch didn't play for them until 2011. Nor did Hock return until 2011. In 2010, prior to all of the foregoing players, Wigan won the Challenge Cup and topped the table.

I never let facts get in the way of my enjoyment And clearly you too get facts wrong So why not now answer my question about what Maguire did differently re conditioning. what differences were there between 10 and 11? Give us some specifics.
I still think Lima, Hock, Finch, Charnley et al made a difference. More particularly the very specific defence systems and professional standards maguire introduced had a significant impact.
So some facts please on conditioning
Must say Lenegan is very impressive at the helm. No hystrionics or posturing...just getting on with the job.
