Had a look yesterday and no more seats added yet, the stands seem to be being finisged off cladding wise so you'd expect that interior fit is next, also seems that more of the area has now been tarmac'd. They seem to be putting new traffic control in on the A57 .

What puzzles me is why start on a middle block 1st and not work end to end if all the seats are too be red?

Think that might be down to the fact that the sides of the main stand havn't been finished fully.

My mates company did the electrics for Saints, he didn't get the contract for our place, but their stadium sure looks good.

It's a community stadium rather than the club's own, so there may not be anything indicating Salford play there in any of the permanent fixtures and fittings.

if they're naming the main tenant on the outside would it make sense to promote the club on the most visble part ( ie the seats in the west stand facing the clockwise M60 traffic ) ?

I'll be half happy, half sad if/when those signs go up. On the bright side, it brands it as our ground, on the down side, it means we're sticking with the crap logo.

Our logo , as well as Leigh Genisis was on the plans for the LSV , nothing there now though

I'd suggest if a SCR logo/signage is to be on the outside of the Barton Stadium , the club will have to pay for it, that's what we were told when we asked

I still have the old clock from the ' cricket ' scoreboard at Hilton Park , hopefully one day it will take pride of place somewhere in the LSV
