Have we decided which end is going to be the "Home" end yet?

| I think the home end is the east shed. If this is right it does mean we'll get the worst of the weather (prevailing westerlies). But my glass is still half full, looking forward to next season.

I have seats in the west stand so it cant be the east shed, do you mean the north stand near the motorway or the south stand near the training pitches

| Thanks Z46, yes you are right, the end will therefore be designated as the North. But as I said before it's aligned towards the northeast and will catch the worst of the weather. If I had a choice I'd pick the South as the home end.

I was there and boy did we get wet. At half time the reds fans moved to the other end which was blocked at first. Eventually the stewards opened up. I was wearing a ski top but was soaked to the skin..Great win though

Quality away. Remember getting back to a pub in Stoke with a coal fire. 4 heads all camped around it meant we were getting some bizarre looks from the regulars.

Remember being stood under the stand at hilton Park for that one, laughing at how wet you mustve been, then saw some of you take your tops off like Newcastle football fans haha, mental.
Good memories though.

In denial mode again I see.
Interesting to see that we have got Ticketline as ticket agents for next season, and we are going down the barcoded ticket route with no cash turnstiles.

| I've heard some reservations about the terracing ends but I've been in similar ends at Burton's Pirelli Stadium and Chester's Deva Stadium...
[urlhttp://www.footballgroundguide.com/burton_albion/[/url
[urlhttp://www.conferencegrounds.co.uk/chester_city.htm[/url
I have visited both stadiums and stood in the terraces behind the goals (chester's is now seated though) and found that the views were good and the acoustics excellent. If ours hold 2000 each then they will be bigger as well.
I'm looking forward to having an 'end' if I'm honest.

Now I think having an "end" is a complete nightmare. I hate it when we are away and stuck at the end of the ground. The view is crap and despite what bobby thinks you miss alot (if not all) of the depth of play.
The Shed was famous for it atmopshere which spilled onto the pitch. The club are going to lose that.

But what we lose in atmosphere we'll get back in the form of jester hats and a drum.

Agreed 100 %
Just to add you don't see the Reds to much in attack as the game is always at the other end.
I really want the side of the ground but I don't want to sit

We all have to embrace the change to make the stadium a success
You have to ask yourself what's the priority for you watching from the side or standing watching a game
Personally I find it very hard to sit and watch any sport which is exciting so it was an obvious choice for me to stand.
