I'm just a little, meh, about the CC these days. For some reason it's lost its excitement. I'd probably be the biggest hypocrite if we got to the final of course, but long gone are the days where I used to look forward to it.

I remember when they were last in SL and they were talking about taking half of Leigh to every away game, when in reality they turned out to be another small but passionate fanbase, not too dissimilar to ourselves. It's easy to act the big I Am in the championship. They've done it before and will do it again next year no doubt!

You are around 3 years to late,that's how long it was since Watts was involved at Leigh ,can you name any of our current Squad who was at Leigh when Watts was there?Not many . Charlie knows.

For Charlie,Watson played on the same team as Ridyard,Armstrong,Higson,Penky,Beswick both at Fax.All the rest exept 3 played against last season.Fax Boys Knows.If your forwards play like they did against Fax Salford will be on easy street.

I can see why you have come to that conclusion REDRUM but most Leigh fans are a great set of fans who have had bad times like yourselves but most of those that have been posting are only trying to wind people up not saying it's right though. Anyway back to the game and me and all the mates I was with on Sunday for our game against Workington and that includes some who have been on the wind up think it will be a very tough game for Leigh and will be happy to keep the score respectable and hopefully give you a game.

As a neutral I expect this to be a cracking game. Sitting in 3rd it's undeniable that Salford are having their best start to a season in a long while. But the points difference between 1st and 3rd and 3rd and 11th are the same. It has been a start to the season that's been full of surprises. Leigh look like a super league team in waiting to me, banter aside, you underestimate them at your peril. They gave us a hard game at Headingley last year and I reckon they'll be even harder to beat at theirs. Enjoy the game, may the best team win.

Josh Griffin out for 4 weeks
Rangi Chase suspended for 7 weeks
Weller Hauraki supseneded for 4 weeks
Cory Paterson out for 2-3 weeks
Tommy Lee at least 2 months

Lets hope for no more injuries against leeds.
