I seem to recall Ennis being mentioned on the Wigan site as replacement for Riddell , seems far fetched , Ennis can be a stunning player on his day , as to him being ' uncoachable ' maybe we're building a team with so much innate talent the coach becomes as extraneous as he is now ..

Now signing Ennis really would be a statement of intent, all other teams in super league would stand up and take notice and we would have a player that genuinely scares the opposition. In short, by far the best player we have been linked with.

So I doubt it'll ever happen. Ennis, Fielden and Patten are the three players that would have really made a difference. at least we've got one of them. I'd swap everyone else so far signed, or definitely rumoured to, for the other two.

THB I used to think the same of Noble, but what he has done with the Crusaders this season has been very impressive. Given the time he had to get the squad together and then get them playing decent rugby for me must put him in with a shout of coach of the year.

Brian Noble or John Sharp ? Brian's done all the talking but who's actually knocked them into shape ?

I'll make a prediction for the bank holiday weekend, there will be some weather, more alcohol consumed than on an average weekend and a great many people from the North of England in West London.

It's easy to say that a big signing will be anounced in the next week or so as it is massively vauge. Same as Judas as you can twist a great many players and make them into Judas.

If the club have cottened on to smithys guessing game an idea would be for them to invite a number of "juduses" down for a press confrence, we build up the tention for a bit unvail one as our signing and publicly flog the rest for crimes against salford city reds.

either way I'm willing to wait if it's significant , and TBH most of the signings so far can be interpreted as a step up from our normal quality .

i for one cannot wait for the new season to start , i know we the fans will be in for something really special next season , if we finish outside the top six , i personally will walk round the willows ground dressed as a red devil ,at the last game of the season , and yous can all throw power rangers at me

Top six would be a wonderful season but doubt it as the team looks like being a 60 or 70% new and will take time to gel, also should there be a glut of injuries in the backs think we are still light unlike the forwards were we are getting close to having to many 2nd rowers.

so we have two signing to look forward to? A judas and a superstar?

Maybe it's Jesus Christ Super star and Judas? some form of Biblical 13 maybe? throw in Nero and were only 10 short.
