Think on the FAQ form it says any related adults living at the same address can all get on one family membership.

The only question i have regarding this issue is why is there a picture of Ian Sibbit trying to look fierce on there? is he our new "pin up" trying to attract the new female supporter?

The coloured sheet says that a family is "mother, father and children living at the same address", but the FAQ does state "all related adults at the same address and their children". The latter seems to be correct because the application form says you can add more adults on another sheet.

Why do they ask what shirt size you want then ask for the chest size?

Having spoken to the club they are flexible on the adults as long as you all live at the same address and can prove it.

thats a bit unfair, I think there are a few blokes on this site who could give some of the women a run for their money in that department

I've been told of another area that's caused confusion:

A colleague of my missus goes to games and takes her son. Her son is 16 in March, so cannot get a junior season ticket (need to be under 16 at the end of August 2010). The next price level up is a student ticket, but as she points out, he won't have a student ID until he starts college in another year. She thinks that this means that she will have to get an adult season ticket for her high school son becasue he's not under 16, but not a college student. Obviously, this pretty much appliess to everyone in year 11 at school.

Now, I'd imagine that the club wouldn't treat a 16 year old in full time education as an adult, but the paperwork's insistence on a student ID card has made this person think that adult is the only option for them. Surely there's some sort of school ID that people can use these days.

Another thing to add to all the confusion.
You need a passport photo for the new ST cards.
I was told they were setting up a camera but the kit for making the cards etc was not ready yet.
I was told to either drop in a photo or wait till the system is set up.
This gets more farcical by the day.

Just to put the membership in perspective, here is the cost of ONE single ticket for away fans for United versus Besiktas in what will be by then a meaningless European game.

Away fans looking to buy tickets must produce a current Turkish passport before tickets can be allocated and the maximum allocation allowed per supporter is two tickets. These tickets can be booked now, in person, at Ticketing and Membership Services and are all priced £51 each.

Walshy and Me got our tickets for Moscow away £8.00 each, football in this country is too expensive and when I travel abroad I marvel at the price of entrance in different countries. In Spain the average price is 15 euros a game, Germany 12 euros, and in Italy Juventus sell a womens season ticket for 20 euros
Mind you the Moscow ticket is the cheapest I have had in the last ten years as a visiting fan
Besiktas were charging 120 Euros for United fans for vip tickets and 40 euros for a restricted view, I think their own fans pay 5 euros so there is a big disparity in prices between the continent and England

Thinking about this family membership that would mean only one membership needed in Bolton

Thats why I always buy my tickets when I get to the country


It just goes to show though how much we as fans are getting ripped off by the football clubs, and why I still think RL is good value for money.

£8.00 is probably a weekly wage in Moscow at present, makes you also wonder where the mad prices for the CL final at exactly the same stadium came from.

I have renewed our families Season Tickets earlier this week and-

(a)They took photos of three of us there and then

(b)The other two can either go down some other time and have their photos taken or just provide one of their own.

All in all the club staff were excellent and efficient.

UEFA set the price to make as much as possible out of the brits, plus United added £14 for non-existent transport from the airport.
like a certain travel company charged £1048 for the final this trip £450 for exactly the same two night stay.

I asked United for my money back on that... still waiting.
