Think our lowest SL crowd at home is around 2600? Could be under threat on Sat.

Agree with everybodies thoughts on that will be definate low attendance.

I know of a few people who have thought about going and I have told them the time and they have laughed at me saying you will miss the biggest derby in years. Kind of makes me just want to watch man u!

Well, early indications (I sound like Peter Snow on election night) are that there will be at least 30 of us in attendance. That's based on the show of hands here and people I know beyond Turkey land.
Proportionately speaking, this indicates a swing of about 2970 seats and a landslide victory for the Wendyball party. But, with 4 days of polling to go, much can change. (Yeah; I've got into this Peter Snow role a tad too much me thinks...)

Sadly I know of 5 who can't make it, 3 are in Oz and 2 have a family bash to attend in liverpool, so how do we fit into the political scene matey

I'll not be going I'm afraid. Nothing to do with United though, doing the Otley Run on Saturday for a mates B'day. Think I'll be the only Salford lad missing both!!



Didn't look at fixtures when I agreed to go ages ago!

I fancy us against Bradford though, not too disimilar to us, had a hiding against Hudds themselves and gelling new players in to the team. Defo a game both teams will be targetting to move up the table.

I believe a Mr W. Rooney has purposely got himself disciplined at work so he's not working on Saturday, just so he can attend the game.

Similarly I understand his former colleague Mr C. Tevez is planning to throw a sickie so he can be at The Willows.

Or to the big screen in the stadium for the 2nd half? They managed to do it at the HJ to show the RU World Cup final after the Northern Union v All Golds game in 07 (though everyone left to avoid seeing that tosh).

I think the only thing that would stop me going is having City and United on the big screen

I'm playing cricket so missing both united and Salford! Gutted! If it rains and it's called off I will be watching united!

I did say at the start of the season that I wouldn't go to any games officiated by that guy... I have broken that promise so far this season... but I come away wondering why I broke my promise. He ruins the spectacle.

I'll be the sad loner stood on my own, headphones in, ipod on full blast, refusing to speak to anyone, look at the scoreboard or engage in anyway with anything other than what's happening on the pitch to avoid hearing any scores before I go home and watch it on v+

I'll be there. Couldn't care less about the wendyball. Besides, what is special about being a United or City fan? You're just one in millions. If you're a Salford fan you are in a fairly elite group watching the greatest game of all in a historic, atmospheric old ground in its final year.

So where did I say that I have stuck to my guns and not actually gone because of this ? The word 'consider' says that I'd think about it... and the fact is that I've still gone to games officiated by him.

At the start of the season it was looking like I may have to pick and choose my games due to financial reasons... so I would therefore choose to avoid his games if it came to it as I would deem it a waste of money due to his poor standards... Would financial reasons be a good enough excuse for you ?

Expect around 600/700 Bradford supporters on Saturday so that'll help push the crowd.

The strange kick-off time of 16:45 doesn't help anyone I agree so expect that 600/700 support to be down to 400 as most will just stay and watch the game in the pub/home etc.
