I admit I assumed he would sign because as everybody else thought nobody accepts less money to do the same job, and to everyones surprise even the guys on the sky panel he did. |

Strikes me he's been true to his word - he said that he wished to go to a club that would be in with a good chance of being top 4, and presumably he meant in the very near future i.e. next season - he's made the assessment that Les Cats are more likely to do that next year than we are and gone with his instinct rather than just following the money (if what you say is right of course) - good luck to him, I hope he's wrong and our plans prove successful.
A lesson there for the Dr and Nobby - you have to do more than just talk the talk when selling the dream - roll on 9th August and let's hear just ho far we have actually come. |

Only my opinion but I think it could be a blessing in disguise Whitehead not coming to Salford...few Bulls fans reckon his tackling isn't the best and some guy I was speaking to reckons his stats back this up...Salford can't afford to carry anymore bad defenders ..got enough already ...especially with a fee involved too....lets see what transpires close season and put the money to better use
