Genuine question - Is Mrs Koukash an actual businesswoman, or do we all stop beating around the bush and accept this Bulls's proposal for what it seems to be, and that is Mr Koukash simply strengthening up for more future battles with those at the top of the RFL?

To be fair, I don't see a problem if its a genuine takeover - Ultimately, its a club getting a much needed kiss of life and jobs being saved.... It does make you wonder where it could end though??.. Can he 'advise' more 'family members' to save more cash strapped clubs and possibly even set up his own breakaway league?? - I'm sure the likes of Simon Moran and Ian Lenegan would be interested in jumping ship if the chance arose.

that the RFL would have actively encouraged some input from Dr K
It was the RFL who provided staff and probably pointed Dr K in the direction of other staff for Salford and he himself has concentrated this side of the 'hills' - so a club in Yorkshire,with or without the opportunity to 'property develop' has come in from left field.

I think the RFL will be pleased to receive the bid.

If this takeover happens then I would get ready for the good doctor to jump ship with Mr Noble. Bradford has a bigger fan base and more potential in the good doctors eyes. Unless Salford can start attracting 10000 crowds regularly, then Bradford will be his new home in the not too distant future.

There are many benefits to owning 2 clubs, or (proxy owning).

Some of which have been put on the VT in terms of the champ manager senario.

However, in terms of the practical day to day advantages they could not just switch players at will like on the computer game.

But it does give him a better strategic position. He now gets 2 votes on all matters SL.

That gives him a better position currently. But if he can save Bradford, he goes from having 1/14th to 1/6th of a say in how the game opperates. He will be far from the monopoly position, however if he can get a brother involved too then he keeps increasing his strategic base.

This is assuming all things remain equal. ie other owners don't follow suit.

Most owners have some tie to a club beyond that of owning them, they may have been fans etc.
Koukash was never a Salford or Bulls fan growing up, so he could have bought wakefield if they where on the market. It's his vision that he is buying more than the club itself.

The interview was solely to confirm that it is Mrs Koukash behind the bid and to ask about the 'conflict of interst' issue raised on the social media.The format for the interview would have been sorted before the camera rolled.
With her being a tad busy having babies and nurturing them her experience before tv cameras would be limited and as nothing has been confirmed regarding ownership she would be limited in what she could say.
( Friends and relations of the other bidders may have objected or suggested favouritism )
She was asked closed questions and answered;despite the interviewer removing the microphone quite quickly and Dr K was able to amplify a bit more relating to pertinent points.
Nothing cringeworthy about it in my view.
Hopefully she is nothing like Kath Hetherington and won't acquiesce to the RFL should Hull FC find themselves short of fans any time in the future.
