Yep he was outstanding for us then moved too soon to London before he had developed fully, last seen playing for Halifax i think as a blocker 2nd row big waste imo

I think that sort of proves my point that he wasn't really a lost genius at all, but a potentially good prospect who never made it as countless others don't. Hardly a lost genius

| Ratchfords a good player and we all know that however with the squad size and quota spots i think Matt Parish will find somebody better for the amount of money he was probably wanting.
With the way the leagues looking and the teams we have to face, i think it would be better to put a young player in to give him a chance.

Dont necessarily feel its all the fault of Ratch. SM is the villain of the piece. If he had played the lad instead of keeping him away from the frontline a contract would surely have ensued at the end of last season. Instead we were stuck with SM and Ratchford gets a `free`. SM has cost us £200k plus in my view.

| SM was an important part of the credibility of our last license bid, people forget that.
Give him respect and look forward not back.
He identified, correctly in my view, that Ratchfords particular and undoubted talent did not transfer to performances at stand off.
We will see but that was SM's judgment call and it was a reasonable call to make.
I agree that there is no point playing him now, different situation to Cashmere, and we should move on.

"So what do you think of that decition shaun to relegate your team salford?"
"F*** y*** Stevo n Eddie the whole thing is $***,"
Surpose it was a master stroke by the club in many ways the only down side was losing 2k fans but they will get them back now we e in the new stadium hopefully.

| Robbie Paul also helped.
I think the last application was on a knife edge and their presence was helpful.
The hard hats were also worth their weight in gold !

| losing 2k fans a game would average about 30k in cash a match so 13 games at home would eqate to 390k in lost revenue a year enough to pay two or three very good players.

| I thought I'd read somewhere that Ratchford needed a clean-up operation on his knee that would rule him out for the remainder of the season?
If so, I'd send him for it now - gives MP an excuse to drop him without causing too much friction, allows the team to made up of players who don't have their mind elsewhere and, most importantly, gives us the chance to put someone who is playing better in the centres because Ratchford has been poor recently.

I've liked Nero in the centres, not many get through him and now we have two wingers with pace he could create openings for the man outside him knowmatter who that is.
