yesterday was the first time i'd been to moor lane since we played swinton there a few years back. pretty grim stuff

FC Utd at home vs Cammel Laird tomorrow night. 7.45pm kick off.

Followed by a trip across the pennines to Guiseley on Sunday. Kick off 3pm.

Excellent 3-2 win for the Ammies at Curzon Ashton in the Presidents Cup last night. Despite a weakened Curzon side Salford's performance was hugely encouraging following what was probably one of this seasons worst performances against Lancaster. Back to league action at Mossley on Saturday k.o. 3.00pm.

Great win away at Curzon that although I'd be sure we couldn' have played them at a better time after their performance at the weekend.

5-5 draw last night. Yes, that's right, five all. And FC were 5-2 down at one point, too. Could easily have been more goals in it at either end.

One hell of a game of football.

As we were 5-2 down with 20 mins left it was some comeback. Not bad for £7.50

Another great display today by Salford City saw them finally break their league duck at the 13th time of asking with a well fought 3-2 victory at Mossley. Coming from a goal behind the Ammies raced into a second half 3-1 lead before a late Mossley goal made it squeaky bum time for the final five minutes. A nice touch at the end when the Salford players came over to acknowledge the vocal support who duly responded in kind. Next game at home to Clitheroe this coming Saturday k.o. 3:00pm.

I see Harrogate R.A. won again to keep the gap at 6 points, although we've still got 3 games in hand. Radcffe are now second bottom 5 ahead of us.

I've not been to a non-league game for a good few years but we used to follow Trafford when I was younger.

Decent away day although the ground only had one toilet fot 1,800 people which was a portaloo behind the goal and the main staind was half seats half burnt out shell

GT was in his element with the supposed threat of Leeds turning up to kick off and then Bradford apparentely coming down to help United out

And why is it cause to be mentioned in your sig even if it is true? The people who have taken over your club have an obscene amount of personal wealth, it's not MCFC's money.

Absolutely !!!

Until they deposit the money into MCFC's bank account.... then it isn't their money.... and even if they did the guy could have it back whenever he wants.

Doesn't matter how you dress it up though, they have access to more money (which has been reported as available to spend) than any other club.........simple really!
