It was suggested at the Forever Reds meeting that we allow people to sponsor tries at 25p per try as well so if this sways anyone into singing up then please PM myself or Walshovski.

as a gesture of goodwill I know the Swinton game didn't count but I will put a fiver forward for this game

C'mon people lets all dig deep for this one, everyone here wants to help the club and this is a great way of doing it at not that greater exspense. So lets get more people giving the full £1 for a try, I mean if I can manage to scrape it together on the pittyful wage I'm on then I'm sure most people can. At the minute every try Salford score at home is worth £21 to Forever Reds. Based on last years stats if we score 45 tries at home that is £945 to Forever Reds throughout the season. Away every try is worth £11 and if we score 35 tries that is £385.

Some legend has joined via the website Karl set up pledging £2 for every try we score which is class. Not really done much to push this scheme apart from this thread and word of mouth and already the money is mounting up. Just need a few more to join to get us to some seriously good amounts that will go straight to Salford's academy system.

Even if you just do 50p for home tries and we score 40 that is only £20 for the seaon.

Just to put it on record, I am fully expecting us to get nilled tomorrow now we have set this try scoring fundraiser up.

2 tries scored yesterday to get the scheme up and running.

That's £40 raised from one of the tougher away games. Plus £6 from a mystery source pledging £6 for every try Broughton scores! Hopefully Celtic at home on Friday will yield a win and a few tries, each one now worth £30 to Forever Reds. Or £36 if Broughton scores it!

Never too late join up and anyone wanting to pay up as the season goes on can pay me, Karlos or Shirley on Friday at the game. If you don't know who we are just drop any of us a PM and we can sort something. Alternatively people can bring their money to the next Forever Reds meeting whenever that maybe.

i did include Widnes a bonus Fiver for the swinton game we should have a bit more money
no coverage in the Advertiser about it,

Last shout for the try scheme before the first home game of the season. Forms can be collected/filled in/handed in at the club shop. Nothing to pay upfront as you pay throughout the season.

Yeah you can pay it all in one go at the end of the season as well.

Just to let everyone know, F/Reds meeting for Monday 22nd Feb is cancelled due to the weather. Rather than wait until tomorrow to see if it snows again, will re-schedule for in a week or two.
