Thinki that as the variety club is privately owned the money paid for it's sale (if any has been recieved) is Wilkies to do with as he pleases, I would suspect that he will re invest it in some of his other business interests.

I'm the same sort of age as you have had the same year after year of nad kicking but I think new stadium new optimsm, if it doesn't transpire then me and my poor nads are retiring from target practise.

Absolute bull5hit.Hes had decades to sort Salford out.He put us in this position of a yoyo club.and he nearly got us to leighs stage.But salford was in a very healthy state when he took over to what we are now.The last game pulled in 10000 spectators.That proves the salford public are their to be won over but sadly the jolly good fella and DT arent reaching them or not winning people back.yes and I am hitting the road just like 7500 have in the past 30 years.

I am mate... I think it's just another thing in a string of disappointments.

Firstly... the original design is taken away and have a lesser quality stadium. I know this couldn't be helped, and when we look at it... perhaps the original design was over-ambitious.

We get used to that... and even grow quite fond of the design...and get quite excited by it... then we are told that we can't stand along the side... like we did at The Willows... and we are being pushed behind the sticks... in a stand that hasn't exactly got height on it's side like the North Stand had.

Then... To top it all off... We are given blue seats in a stadium who's primary tenants are called 'Reds'.

How would you have felt had we stayed at The Willows, and they ripped out half the red seats to be replaced by blue ? I bet many would have kicked off... and I don't see this as being any different.

How would people feel if blue was incorporated into our home kit ? Happy ? No chance... why ? Because we are REDS.

I know this stadium isn't owned by us... but we are forever being told that the council are proud of it's number one sporting club... yet they keep finding a way to put the boot in.

Just think of all the positives we have had in the past 25yrs, i will name a few,0NE,errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

So have you, only you didn't buy the club and fix everything. You're entirely to blame.
