This order because I feel a good team is built on defence and my first two have been immense.

After a poor start to the season I really think Cashmere is coming into his own, the lad gets through some work and some of his offloads are sheer class.

Top 2 are very close between Myler and Adamson - Myler just shades it. Stapo would probably come very slightly after Cashmere for me as well.

Gone for LouLou as invariably when he comes off he hasnt got Stapleton and Cashmere in thefront row with him but still manages to punch holes, I honestly think that he is one ofthe best imports for many years as he is so dependable and a grafter.

why paul, well it's because he's been such a consistant player until now he's helped nearly all the new lads, he's been the face of salford reds all season more than the captain and the club captain, and he nearly got that try at murrayfield

myler tthird, he's fast, young and iinexperianced and it shows, yes he scores but i have a terrible feeling he is going to burn out

Others I considered, in no particular order, were Leuluai, Alker, Swain, Cashmere, Adamson & Myler.

Adamson for me - for a young forward to make such an impact amongst a set of experienced forward speaks volumes.
I've not picked Myler as we need to play down his impact in order to keep him!
If Ratchford had played more games at stand off, he might be in the mix too.

Adamson has just pipped Myler IMO, because he has been more consistant out of the two, His work rate in attack and his immensly impressive deffensive efforts are second to none, Check out where he stands on the overall super league statistics. Proper Brilliant!

Myler still an absolue gem though, a proper talent and we are very lucky to still have a player of his calliber at our beloved club. Young Myler will only get better with time and prove to be more consistant as the season progresses. Get him tied up Salford!

Alker has proven to be a true leader this season. A true role model both on and off the field.

My Choice so far would has to be

Immense tireless defense from Adamson, Gives 100% week in, week out & his attack has come on ten fold. This kid IMO is what the future of Salford will be built on,

Stapo again gives nothing short than 100% each week. Making good yardage & landing on his front every time (+ quick play of ball) If we can keep him for the next 2-3 years he's someone we can build around

Alker looks sharp from play of ball, albeit not every game its obvious he's had no problem adjusting back to the quick play of SL. I think if only he had'nt been demoted at the start of the season, we would have had a better start to our season

1. Adamson outstanding and make next to no mistakes tackling has been immence

2. Leuleu exellent everytime he's come off the bench was stand out player when we were getting hammered

3. Parker was given a hard time by some d*** Heads when he was captain but never gave less than 100% commitment and has been solid

no one can deny how well adamson has played this year, the lad puts more than 100% in every week and i think he is set to become one of the salford greats, as long as we manage to keep him at the club

Anybody not yet voted for 'Your Player of the Year - so far.' Seems to be between Myler & Adamson up to now.

Really hope we can keep hold of these two come the end of the season.
