| £17-18 is definately to expensive for going to grounds like ours, wakey, Cas, Saints. But then comparing it to other sports namely footie it compares extremley good value. The thing is at the moment you really need to have a reason to see someone to contemplate paying that much money. Can I really afford £18 to watch Solly get thumped/ embarressed at Saints? Where as a competative side would have me not even considering not going. If a supporter is struggling to justify paying that kind of money why would a bringalong person pay it.

Talking about casual supporters and pricing, last night me and the wife and two grandkids cost me £48, 2 at £17 and 2 at £7, add to that chips, hot dogs drinks whatever and you are looking at the best part of £60 for the night, that doesn't include any beer. Not really an incentive for me to take them again although the kids did say they enjoyed it.

I a word, yes. I paid £18 to get watch Warrington at Wakefield last week. Prices need to come down a couple of quid. Max should be £15 IMO

Don't the club still do the family ticket which is cheaper than paying as individuals? Could be worth looking into and if not asking why not. £12 on top of that for refreshments isn't really that bad in comparison to other events.

| Am I reading this right - Warrington fans are having a go at Salford due to crowd size??? As a Wakey fan I love coming to Salford (to include a stag night this year!!!) - but Warrington brought about 250 to Wakefield last week - hardly a mass!!!!
Look forward to meeting some of you in the little club next to the ground well well well before kick off!!!!

Yeah, because Widnes would've had 6,000 there for the equivalent game, wouldn't they? Jesus, can we ban 95% of away fans from the Turkey for a bit? Please?
Iain, spot on mate. £17 is a complete p*ss take. Comparing it to football isn't much good, seeing as football's prices are astrinomical these days. Compare it too, say, going to watch Lancashire. For Championship and one-day league / Friends Provident Trophy games, you can get 7 to 8 hours of sport from £10 to £15, depending on the competition and when you buy your ticket.

| I think it should be £15 max. As stated by Iain, it is difficult to encourage work colleagues and friends to come and watch a game when they are not hardcore Salford games. Our facilities are not a selling point and the product on the pitch, at least from the team in red, is not attractive either.

Anything over £15 is a joke to get into a 100+ year old stadium.

| all super league clubs should charge the same price ie £15 would be about right
Students/pensioners £7.50
Unwaged £3.00
Kids up to 16 free .
I know some stadium are all seater but what the heck i want to stand to watch a fast moving game, seating takes away some of the atmosphere.

Fresh off Mervyn's printer
Anything over £15 is too much, along with the £15 it costs for me to get to the game, the results, the lack of decent facilities/beer, other things going on Friday nights etc..all means I'll be picking my games this season.

Take it you've not paid much attention to Widnes' results this year then?

| Does it really matter how many fans teams have FFS? I've just watched Wigan v Bradford and saw the usual turn out from Bradford fans at an away game. The same can be said of Leeds when they go away they don't take alot.
At the end of the day there needs to be 14 teams to have a league. If we got rid of the teams that some of you morons don't like you would be playing Hull KR v Hull KR reserves each week or Warrington Wolves v Woolston Rovers.
Perhaps the Wolves might win 1 or 2 that way and "playing with yourselves" suits Hull KR down to the ground doesn't it
