| Stop moaning....salford are happy to take Sky/Super League money so therefore can't complain when they get diactated to about when and where they play.
As with all sports Sky have taken under their wing they do things their way in return for making cash available, some it suits others it doesn't but what it does do is make the big teams stronger and the lower teams mediocre just look at the Football Premier league where all they talk about is breaking into the top five.
The simple solution is for teams who arn't happy to opt out and then along with the teams making up the Championship break away and form their own competition to include promotion and relegation and take the Challenge cup with it ( which of course belongs to the Rugby Football League not SLE) and run a proper competition where the money is equally spread between the clubs.
Let the Wigans and Leeds of Super League have the SLE It won't be long before they get fed up playing one another 5 times a year just to run a season.
This won't happen of course because like it or not Sky money rules most Chairmans heads.

| Go to the 20's game and boycott this farce.
Season ticket holders should get a refund on the game as this is not at the Ground they bought the season ticket for (unless there is some small print saying the club can do this)
I hope there are only Wakefield fans there or better still no fans at all.
This is not Sale, Salford or anyone elses fault but Sky alone.

Word. Seen people saying they'll boycott but watch it on Sky at home. Defeats the object. If you stay away, listen to it on the radio or follow it online.

| South Stand tickets are swapped for the North Stand and North Stand tickets are swapped for the South Stand. Can't see any confusion happening there then. At least those that go, and stand, will be able to stand on a decent terrace for a change.

| Banners or such would be the best way to go about it.. Chants against Sky as the Wakefield fans but that would depend on how many Salford fans are there and by the looks of it there won't be many and I am included in this bracket.
I look forward to the Under 20's game Friday anyway and hopefully there will be more fans there then on Saturday.

| It'll be interesting to see if Sky mention the fact everyone is furious they've caused a game to be moved to a neutral ground out of their own self interest. Normally when they've caused a kick off to be shifted they can get away without mentioning it but they surely have to at least mention to the casual viewer why Salford are playing a home game at Leigh.

| The only way they'll take any notice at all is by voting with your feet. Lets be honest the Sky camaras are hardly likely to show any banners which make them look bad are they and they'll just mute any anti-sky chanting. But plenty of empty spaces in the ground will get the point across that you'll not just follow like sheep and shift grounds at such short notice on the whim of a tv company.

| This isn't sky's fault at all. SCR hold their hand out each year and accept the sky monies with nothing said about this dilemma. It's what you get for not owning your own ground.

Sky shifting fixtures a week before is nowt to do with owning your own ground or not. We've have been forced to play on the Saturday if we'd owned Barton or not.
The fact we don't own Barton is a longer term issue and is Salford's fault. The alarming chasm that exists between the fans and the club is Salford's fault as well and needs addressing rapidly.

Totally agree with your 2nd point, however disagree with your 1st. If we owned Barton like we were promised and were sole tenants like we were promised or if we still existed at the willows then sky could change the fixtures every week.

| Of course it's Sky's fault. They give five day's notice of a change of date. I'd bet there was no consultation with Salford. Nobody would have been working at the club late on Sunday night when results meant that the Wakefield fixture was deemed to be the most meaningful of the weekend's fixtures ( after the Saints Wigan game ).
The decision shows a complete disregard for Salford's players fans and those who had booked meals on the Friday. I know of many fans who had booked the meal they were entitled to from their season ticket for the last game and now they've lost it, and others who have not missed a game all season Home or Away who are now forced to miss the game.
The club is doing what it can correctly honouring Car Park passes and promising tickets for the first home game next season for those who can't make it, but it cannot be fair for us to be denied home advantage in our final league fixture because Sky have made a decision that they want to show Wakefield on television.

| Sky pay out the majority of the money to SL clubs so in effect "own" the SL.
They can do what they want and ask games to be moved whether a club and its fans like it or not.
Same happens in the Premier League and even a club as powerful as MUFC cannot stop it.
Empty seats and low viewing figures will maybe, just maybe make them think although with someone like Murdoch running the show I doubt it.
Lets see next week the two clowns on Sky again going on about the greatest game and how everything is fine, whilst we the fans are treated like $hite and clubs are going t1ts up.

Likewise - and an empty wallet, but as I go in support of the players and the coaching staff I will continue to do so,as they are certainly NOT to blame.
Whatever the players think appropriate,in terms of demonstration,I will agree with.
I should point out that the biggest clubs in the game also suffer;it was worse for the followers of the current world champions,a couple of years ago [url=http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/sport/leeds-rhinos-fans-rap-french-farce-1-3015548Story[/url
Sky will mute/turn the mike off so chants may not be suitable - probably a good thing - as this may be an opportunity to win some friends.Shame the depth of feeling and energy expressed on here and on the Facebook page cannot be used in a positive way for the players. The best I can come up with is a red card protest - holding a red card in the air.
I don't think going into camera view, near the touchline, and turning backs on the play is a good idea so I shall wait for someone intelligent to suggest a suitable protest while I plan how to reach Leigh on Saturday.

| As a Leyther who is intrigued by what all the fuss is about Sooper Dooper League, I'll probably venture over to LSV on Saturday. Could someone please advise me what the concession (>65 that is!) price is for the West Stand?
By the way, as for Salford honouring car park passes, the parking at LSV is free anyway, but be careful where you park. Don't park on any of the roads for example, or the wheel clampers will have a field day!
I know it's not the same as playing at home, (although your players are training at the LSV complex every day) but I'm sure you'll enjoy the excellent facilities and atmosphere at LSV.

| [iFor those who don't venture onto Facebook... I'll post on here what I posted on there... so apologies to those who have read it on Facebook....[/i
I can't believe how some people think on here. Why don't we move it to another time or another day ? etc etc....
Look... Get this into your heads as this is becoming tedious. Take a step back and think about it rather than going in all guns blazing.
Firstly... Sale moved their game because it clashed with ours... therefore... SALFORD HAD PRIORITY ON THE STADIUM... Sale, ESPN, RFU cannot move that fixture as they have already moved it once.
Secondly... Sky Sports call the shots due to the money they put in. The clubs agree to fixture changes like this... otherwise they don't sign the agreement for the Sky money... and the club isn't in Super League. They have a Saturday evening slot available and this will not be moved. Had Wakefield lost and Hull KR won at weekend... the live fixture would probably have been London v Hull KR... but it wasn't... so it's Salford. But Sky have played well within the rules here... the rules that every club.. INCLUDING SALFORD... agree to. So don't be banging on about cancelling subscriptions... it's those subscriptions that go towards you having a SL team to watch.
Thirdly... If you are looking for anybody to blame other that Salford... then blame the RFL. As somebody else has pointed out... All games on the final day should be Sunday at 3pm regardless of when a club wants to play their games. That way... we get the 'Super Sunday' type programme on Sky with perhaps 2 important games covered.
And lastly... but most importantly... This whole issue IS down to Salford. Over 10 years ago... the club decided they would be moving to Barton. They formed Red City Developments... and formed it very poorly. People came on board that should never have come on board. We spent hundreds of thousands of £££s on architects, surveys, planners etc... Then it went bump. The iconic stadium which was never a reality in truth didn't happen... and all that money that was lost / gambled on that project. This left Salford with no other choice than to get into bed with the Council and Peel... and left us as tenants at a stadium alongside the 'enemy' that is Rugby Union... and it really isn't their fault. Couple all this with the decision to keep a Chief Executive in place who didn't even like the sport of rugby league and it's all a recipe for disaster.
So... we are left as joint tenants in a stadium not owned by us... and we still have people on here blaming SKY... blaming Sale... and everybody else but ourselves. We have made this mess ourselves and are now left picking up the pieces.
Once upon a time... I wouldn't have anything ever said against the club... but people really have to wake up and smell the coffee... Our club was gambled with when trying to move to Barton... we lost... and are now left picking up the pieces. My rant isn't based on opinion... it's based on facts... It's the clubs fault over the last 10 years.... DEAL WITH IT !!!

| Doesn’t look like anyone is too happy with this move.
Anyway, some people have been saying they can’t get to the game now it’s been messed about with, which is fair enough.
Some people are staying away on principle, which again is fair enough too, but as we have another thread on the forum about potential new investors/owners. Do we think a (totally) empty stadium is going to help attract the investment the club so desperately need? Is it a case of cutting your nose off to spite your face?
Not saying anyone is wrong if they go or abstain, just something else to further cloud your decision.

| Like I have said for a long time, the game is now run by Sky and not the RFL.
SKY put all the money without which many clubs would not survive. Premier league football goes through similar issues.
Its just a shame that its fallen on us to move on a day when the stadium is already booked. If Sale were away it wouldnt be an issue.
Get over to Leigh and support the lads, staying away doesnt help anyone.
