This is bad news unless a new tougher regime has pushed him out, if so good for the squad as he would've been a bad influence on the younger players.

On his day the best but he must of only played 10-12 games max! Free up some cap for a class loose forward!

Must be some decent wedge for Harris to spend there if he was originally lured away from the NRL. Just the small matter of finding an available player. Harris was quoted as saying he was lining up Hock for loose forward for next year so any guesses (bearing in mind we already seem to need to shift two off our non-fed quota so a Brit would be more feasible)?

Despite his obvious failings,it's a really poor do that he's leaving after a year

Worrying in general at the forwards we have for next season, even before this.

Think we're in for another year of disappointment if we don't somehow improve on what we have.

Couldn't agree more especially when you hear stuff like couldn't get a game at Dewsbury, whilst the likes of Wire are bringing in players like Daryl Clark and Ashton Sims.

I'm flabbergasted by this, we have no quota spot and there certainly isn't another British player who is going to be an improvement.

Hock has the same agent as another of our first team.
They are allegedly trying to unsettle him as well.

The only English player I could see matching Hock would be Whitehead and that never got off the ground last time.

The agents are based in Lymm,and appear to be a serious set up.none of the usual names,plenty of legal people. Look them up.

We all know the team and some players have not played well at times this season, but i think any dressing down should be done in private and not all over tweet etc.

Nobody likes getting beat or putting in a poor performance but these things happen, and being slated in public by your boss is not good for anyone.

I just hope hope that Hock is the only player that has taken this to heart and nobody else wants to leave.

I was looking forward to next season with the signings we have made, but now im not so sure.

Why the surprise, Wigan looked after him during his 2year ban, and gave him a big package on his return. They stood by him, but Mr Hock didn't show them the same respect. A great player on his day. But with injuries, suspensions and some ordinary games we can probably count his good games on the fingers of one hand this year. Marwan supported him after his England World Cup cock up, but once again he has turned his back on his team. Let him go and move on.

It would cost quite a bit to pull it off, but ATEOTD Joe is a lot younger than Hock and would be a great signing for SRD.

If the likes of Dobson and BJB are starting next year and possibly some players are getting enhancements (plus the Doc did not get the Marquee player dispensation) you may see very little change out of hock's exit.

I haven't seen how people - usually opposition fans - perceive the stating of the obvious,that the team under-performed at Wakefield is in any way an error or will upset the sensibilities of hard-nosed ,professional rugby league players,all of whom will also realize that they under-performed.



The last individual who wanted to leave - on the fantastic advice of an agent - went to HULL FC very quickly.No time to yawn.It was Sneyd.

There are a plethora of back rowers at the club,even after Matty Ashurst left many of them able to play for 80 minutes on the pitch without colliding with the referee and who don't cause any stress when off the field.
