Maybe Harris has a bee in his bonnet about letting high kicks bounce. Solution? Team of Fullbacks.

Always rated him myself and think he'd offer a much better option at fullback than Platt. If KR are happy to let him play in the cup I'd be quite happy.

Not sure if he could slot into the centres as he'd definately have the skills.

Seems to me that Harris wants a clear-out of some of Nobbies players. He doesn't seem to be hanging around either...

As we are out of the cup I suspect we won't care. Eden didn't play on the 4th round so possibly isn't cup-tied. We appear to have finally ran out of patience with him. Randomly dropping the ball in France on Monday might be his final contribution.

Wonder who's getting binned though as I'd expect Eden to be a decentish wedge.

Nooooooooo, I couldn't disagree with Phil Clark more, he's an awful defender and king of the brain fart. His attacking ability doesn't make up for the points he will leak.

Yes the jury is out for me. Watched him several times on Sky Sports and he can show outstanding attacking ability one minute and drop the biggest clanger the next.

If that's the case I have no idea why we're looking at Eden he lets every single kick bounce. Don't rate him one bit

I suppose one plus is that he has some pace and spark that our back line is clearly lacking with the exception of a couple.

If he could just eradicate the silly errors he could be immense.

Probably needed a couple of squad players. Not much below the first choice 17, especially in the backs.

HKR think enough of Eden that he was playing for Gateshead a couple of weeks ago. Hardly the form you might expect for a team with ambition to go for.

Would think that we won't release players if there is no bigger player to be brought in meaning that Eden would be a cheaper option to bolster the squad.

I can't see the Doc coming home from NZ without his target or at least a player of greater quality for the backline.

I'd also ask if people would prefer Platt or Eden playing in the backline? for me Eden as both aren't the highest quality and not the best defensively but Eden offers much more attacking options.

I will be honest and nearly added his name to the post, but not sure now if his loan for the season means he can't be brought back.

Also if you read some of the posts of people who saw more of him towards the back end of last season in the lower grade, they said he had gone off the boil.

I would suspect Harris desperately trying to bolster his mostly injured backline with a player that moves faster than a speeding glacier , with Mullaney - Johnson- Walton all missing and only Meli - Gleeson * williams - decidedly slow . beggars can't be choosers.

With the right forwards, structures, attitude and desire its a top 4 back line with out a doubt. Power, strength, knowledge, experience mixed with a hell of a lot of speed.
