Be interesting to see where you will get all these players from and the quality, last season there was a lack of quality SL players available and looking at the OOC list it doesnt seem much difference this year.

Hard to attract good NRL players now that the salary cap has increased and the exchange rate.

Money doesn't always help either as we found ou last year, in the search for a halfback.

I'd prefer about half a dozen really high-quality singings rather than speculating that we're going to bring in up to 15 players. Saying things like that could have a detrimental affect on the current crop of Salford players, surely?
I suppose on the other hand it could galvanise them and make them play better to earn a new contract, but on today's evidence I'm not sure!

Maybe buts that only 2 players, will these types of players be available next year, they are a few clubs with some money in SL now, so competition will be tough.

Not having a go and will certainly be interesting times and you all must be ecstatic how things are working out, time for the fans to back the club now.

Impressed with your young players like sneyd and Owen, so you would hope that these still get their chance next year.

Its obvious that to compete you need a large squad able to cope with injuries etc that inevitably occur through the season, so I think the target of 10-15 new players must be realisitic - of course that doesn't say how many of the current squad will be gone...

I think it's a bit of a master stroke saying were bringing in so many new players.
The ones we have have the choice of playing for a future at Salford or they put themselves in the shop window.

Lots of speculation about Rangi Chase after today's game... apparently heading to Oz. Would love to see him at Salford next season.

hull tried to get chase and found that getting him a new visa was impossible, even with top lawyers being hired by the club, the only place chase will go after castleford will be back down under i would assume

We need to fill the key positions next year 1,6,7,9. All new blood. Chase would be great for us. Need a roby for hooker and captain

Chase is a natural talent. But unfortunately he's also a natural bell-end. Not what we need.

First player I'd be hunting down is Darryl Clark from Castleford, after that get Griffin signed up permanently. Frank Pritchard is out of contract at the end of this season, and then there is Duggan, who is seemingly not going to be offered another contract.

Otherwise, it's a case of putting some extra muscle on the likes of Emmit, Ashurst and Dixon, in particular. With some quality conditioning and injury/body management will see better performances on a more consistent basis. Oh, and if his body holds out we know Morley will be with us this year, think he would benefit massively from resting in the off season.

Now the team would improve massively it these changes were made.

The kids,Evalds Fages Sneyd Edwin , need another year out of the main squad,maybe occasionally filling in

Well I was told Morley was coming on a 2 year deal which to be frank I found plain daft. Maybe Dai Watkins will find his boots and request a one year deal. Adrian - a lovely guy but surely only on a pay/play deal.

Sorry but for me getting Morley would be nothing but PR, I'd be very surprised if next season he was anything but a bit part player and one things for certain if Warrington are going to let him go they know it's because his body has just about had enough.
We'd be better off getting Thackray and/or Dowes from Workington for the rest of this season to add some size to the pack and then look for better quality props in the off season.

I was speaking to ed farish before the game (what a decent bloke btw), 10-15 players I asked him?? He said it would be around 10 with 4 "major signings". I asked him about Dobson and he said "he is a fantastic player who is very high on our list". Exciting times indeed.
