First game I'm missing for many years





I hope everyone who's going over enjoys the trip and hopefully we'll be in the hat for the 5th round. I'm feeling a little more confident about our chances than I was when the draw was made

Good referee for once as well

anyone know if there will be any boozers showing the game ?

I recall Catalans' games were previously on Canal Plus and a few pubs used to show the games from over there but not sure any more?

Good luck to the reds this weekend. wish i was going, but safe journey to the fellow reds who are going. i am sure me and Jim Jalfrezi will raise a few jars to you whilst we are on a stag weekend in Chester.

Strange that I actually feel we have a good chance of winning this one. I remember when the draw was made and I thought "better luck next year". Funny how things change in a matter of a few weeks.

no there is always ways of getting there if all else fails cheap flight to Paris and train from Paris to Perpignan and get on somebodies floor,

massive game this, its going to be difficult but we are in form and we have the ammo to reaily hurt them, just complete your sets and earn the right to play.

If the players keep doing the same positive things as they have over the last few weeks im confident we will progress

Chris Walker dropped for disciplinary reasons, and Dallas Johnson has got a one match ban.

A couple of posts on the Catalans board seem to suggest that there were rumours that Walker had been sacked from the club completely. Given that we were mooted to be interested in signing him at the time, it seems we had a lucky escape, despite him being their top scorer for the season so far.

Will it be on all flights cancelled today and probably tomorrow.

I'm reliably informed that Dewsbury were once forced to travel to Toulouse by coach due to air traffic control strikes.

Leigh are travelling down by coach. Theres a few of us booked on toulouse flight tomorrow morning but doubt that will happen

Its 20 - 24 hours on a coach to Perpignan, I am sure that if the team have to go that way they would not be in a fit state to play, seems just as we are playing well an act of god happens, how lucky are we.

Speaking of which, the sods are having a rail strike at the minute which has ruled out alternative methods of transport this weekend

Its going to be a heroic victory or a right good hiding with this kind of preparation

takes me back to 1997 and our trip to Paris, playing rugby on the Euro Tunnel train under the sea.

Just been in touch via text with BBC Radio Five Live about our team having to travel by coach to the South of France today.
