| Anyone but Phil Joesph he's a penalty machine and if Logan Tomkins gets picked next week I would be very surprised. Matty Wilkinson deserves a call up and Sheens rates him very highly, he looked very good against Rochdale when he came on in pre-season friendly.

| I Think this will be a tough game but think the devils have enough to get a win. At this point I'm thinking Koucash ain't all that bad, could do with him at Wakefield instead of having nocash carter who aspires to be Koucash with his social media bull that he writes....

To be honest we've not spent the full cap this year. I don't know the comparisons of how much both clubs have spent but i bet its not that much difference or on par with Wakey's.. Sheens's wise knowledge and choice of personnel is the difference between us and Wakefield this year. If only Brian Smith could've done the same for you. Goes to show how much know-how or influence Sheens has at our club. We're starting to see the fruits of his reign. Priceless signing.

| They won't drop GOB from full back so more likely to see Lee play in the halves and Tompkins start at 9. Evalds to take the bench spot but I don't believe that they see Evalds as full back and as our game this season has been based on the link up provided from GOB they won't want to remove that because of Lui not playing. Evalds doesn't offer that option I don't think from the off.

| Obviously it's going to change the structure of the team and move from the norm, but isn't that going to happen anyway as Lui isn't playing, good teams have to adjust and adapt accordingly you can't expect to go a full season without having everyone available.
For me the most sensible thing to do is play people in their positions where we will get the best out if them and I'm sure they'll be practicing this week.
For me;
1. Evalds
6. Obrien
9. Lee
14. Tomkins

Carter was interviewed earlier in the season and said we were probably circa £1.6m.

Kelly's hamstring is still troublesome, so add him to our list of no shows for Sunday's game too. We have misfired badly in attack all season, so you should p**s it at ours, even without Lui.

Gee Whiz no Kelly, Campese Cockayne, and Lunt.Thats your full spine near enough. Still a potential banana skin is your place though. I wouldn't get too confident, we must keep our feet firmly on the ground and keep concentrating on getting two points, Never take things for granted as Saints found out in round 2.

| I think we've gone into every game so far this season as the "underdog", barring perhaps Widnes (I cant remember the handicap) it will be interesting to see how the players go about their business on Sunday when we go into it as the favourites.

Cockayne took an early guilty plea so he should play on Sunday.

He mentioned that figure, said he had spoke to Marwan around that time, and from that found Salford would be spending around the same figure, if not a smidge more. It was said somewhat informally in a pre-season interview. I can’t recall whether it was before or after Josh Jones arrived.

That's what I would go with. The only thing that nags me about this selection is will it change our game plan from the way we've played previously? We've done really well with GoB at the back as that extra pivot, and with reverting back to a more traditional attacking set-up wonder whether it will stifle our attack somewhat. I know Evalds started out as a HB and I'm also sure he will be up for the task of proving his worth.
I also get a sneaky feeling that Lee will play in the halves and GoB may stay at FB. I'll trust Watsheens judgement on the day regardless.

| This is a perfect chance to give Evalds a go, if he doesn't and ends up being dropped he'll be off next year and we'll lose another upcoming talent.

| But wouldn't this be stifled anyway replacing Lui with Lee in the halves.
I know we had to mix things up against Cas, but would that be the preferred option than playing Niall at the back, who knows the coaching staff know best.

| To be honest. I think that one of the reasons why Sheens has kept Lee at hooker is because of his workrate. We simply can't replace or afford to lose his valued contribution, if Lee played at No 6 a big void will be left wanting which Tomkins simply couldn't fill. I see no problem changing this in the second half if things aren't going to plan, but i think its wise for Lee to start at No 9 due to his valued workrate that can't be replaced.
